Author's POV

Eisha was in her room, enjoying some music while reading a book, when hunger hit her. She got up and headed towards the kitchen. But on her way there, something caught her eye.

A man sat casually on the couch, with a few others standing behind him—guns in hand.

The man on the couch lit a cigarette, taking a long drag before exhaling. She stood a distance away, frozen.

But then, he noticed her. Tossing his cigarette aside, he stood up and began walking toward her. She instinctively backed away, fear tightening its grip. What the hell was happening?

In a swift motion, he pinned her against the wall. Standing in front of her, he grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up.

“Good to see you again, Eisha,” he said, a smirk playing on his lips.

“How do you know my name?” she asked, stunned.

He didn't say a word, just continued to stare at her with a smirk, tracing the features of her face as if remembering them to memory.

Panicking, she pushed him away and called for her parents, but there was no answer. The silence only deepened her fear.

His eyes darkened with rage as he stared at her, the audacity of her push igniting a storm inside him.

He was momentarily stunned, struggling to comprehend how she could defy him like that. He stepped forward again, smirking.

She tried to flee, but he blocked her, slamming both hands against the wall, caging her in. She shoved at him, but her efforts were useless.

Suddenly, a voice pierced the tense silence, drawing her attention as she snapped her head in its direction.

Her heart raced, a mix of hope and fear flooding her as she strained to make out the words.

In that moment, everything around her faded, and all that mattered was the source of the voice.

But her expression changed instantly when she saw her parents tied with ropes. Fear and panic flooded her as she took in their frightened faces, realizing how helpless they were.

The brief hope she felt vanished, replaced by a desperate urge to protect them.

“Eisha! Are you okay, baccha?” her mom’s voice called out.

“Yes, Mom... I’m okay... but who are they? Why are they doing this to us?” she says, her heart racing as her parents fell silent.

Her parents fell silent, their faces heavy with dread.

Suddenly, Jungkook grabbed her hand, pulling her closer as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"P-please, let my mom and dad go! I-I'm begging you!" she pleaded.

With a smirk, Jungkook replied, "Alright, Jaan, I've got two options for you. You're gonna have to pick one."

"What do you mean?" she asked, confusion flooding her mind.

"Either you watch your parents die right in front of you, or you marry me, and in return, they'll live," he said, his voice dripping with menace.

Shocked, she could barely respond.

"No, eisha! Don't do it! Don't marry him!" her mom cried out.

She looked at her mother, tears welling in her eyes. "Mom! If I don't, he'll kill both of you!"

Her dad interjected, "We're willing to die, eisha. But don't you dare ruin your life over this!"

"Your dad's right. We'd rather die than live with the guilt of saving ourselves at the cost of your future, her mom added.

"N-no... M-mom..." she stammered, panic rising.

But Jungkook interrupted, pulling out a gun and aiming it at her parents. "Alright then," he said coldly.

As his finger hovered over the trigger, she threw herself in front of him.

"P-please! Don't kill them! I'll... I'll marry you," she pleaded, desperation in her voice.

Jungkook lowered the gun, his eyes locked on hers.

"No, baccha, please! Don't do this!" her mom begged.

"I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, but I can't be selfish," she said, wiping her tears.

"If you're ready to die for me, then I can't do even that much for you. I know you love me so much, but so do I. That's why I can't lose you."

"Smart choice, jaan. Now, let's go. I'm taking you to my house right now," Jungkook said with a grin.

"Eisha, baccha, please don't! Don't do this!" her mom cried, desperation in her voice.

"Release them," Jungkook commanded.

He pulled her away as her mom tried to stop her, but stumbled and fell.

"Mom! Mom!!" she shouted, panic setting in.

Worry coursed through her as she rushed toward her mom, but Jungkook yanked her back, holding her firmly. Despite her struggles, she couldn't break free.

He dragged her to his car, forcing her inside. Once she was seated, he followed and sat beside her. She tried to open the door, but he grabbed her hands, tying them behind her back.

"Mr Whatever, what are you doing? Let me go! Please..." she pleaded, her voice trembling.

He smirks, pulled out his gun, pointing it directly at her.

She flinched, falling silent as fear enveloped her.

He held her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. "If you even think about saying something or trying to move... you already know what'll happen."

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she nodded, trembling.

"Good girl," he said, a smirk playing on his lips.

The car ride was filled with tense silence; neither of them spoke.

When they arrived at Jungkook's house, he got out and opened her door. But she didn't move. Without hesitation, he scooped her up into his arms.
