After they arrived at Jungkook's house, he got up and opened the door for her. But Eisha didn’t budge, so Jungkook lifted her into his arms.
“Hey! Mr Whatever, put me down! I said, put me down!” she protested.
Jungkook ignored her, striding inside the massive mansion, which left her feeling overwhelmed by its grandeur and the imposing security surrounding her.
The maids and guards were taken aback by the unexpected presence of a girl, but Jungkook paid them no mind as he carried eisha straight to his room.
He opened the door and placed her gently on the bed, though not too harshly.
“Aah! Y-You!” she exclaimed, attempting to rise, but Jungkook stepped closer and untied her hand and leans closer to her.
“Now listen,” he said, his tone serious.
“We’re getting married in a few days. Until then, don’t try to escape or do anything foolish, or you’ll face punishment. Got it?”
"Kyu Kar rahe h aap hamare sath aisa? Hamare mom-dad ne kya kiya h aapke sath?" she asked, panic rising in her chest.
(“Why are you doing this? What did my mom and dad do to you?”)
“You’ll find out soon enough, but for now, just behave like a good girl,” he replied, leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
Eisha's composure crumbled, and she started crying.
“I miss Mom and Dad already... I hope they’re okay,” she whispered to herself.
A little while later, exhaustion overcame her, and she fell asleep. A short time later, Jungkook returned to check on her, finding her asleep. He smiled softly and sat beside her, wiping the dried tears from her cheeks.
“Don’t worry, Jaan. I won’t hurt you,” he said before stepping out of the room.
After an hour, She woke up, sitting up slowly. She glanced at the clock—it was 7:00 p.m. Feeling lost and alone in the unfamiliar room, she didn’t know what to do.
Suddenly, a maid entered, carrying clothes. She bowed to her before placing the items on the bed.
“Good evening, Mam! Mr. Jeon sent these for you. Please get ready, he’s waiting for you downstairs.”
“Thank you, but I don’t want to go,” Eisha replied, crossing her arms defiantly.
“Why is that, Mam?” the maid asked, confused.
“Because I don’t want to,” she insisted.
“But, Mam! Mr. Jeon—”
Just then, Jungkook walked in, hands in his pockets, raising an eyebrow at the maid.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Mam doesn’t want to go downstairs,” the maid said, looking down.
Eisha’s gaze fell as she felt Jungkook’s intense stare at her. He turned back to the maid, saying, “Okay, you can leave.”
The maid bowed and left, leaving Jungkook to approach eisha.
“Why aren’t you getting ready?” he asked, stepping closer.
“I-I don’t want to go anywhere,” she stammered.
“Well, you’re still getting ready,” he insisted.
“No!” eisha shot back.
Jungkook’s anger flared as he moved toward her. “Okay, let me help you change.”
