After Izuku returned to UA, encouraged by his classmates and Ochaco's heartfelt speech, a small group of Class 1-A students had begun a small huddle group, exchanging hushed whispers.Conversation ruling around Izuku was spurred. He's the centre of everyone's mutters, after all.Their conversation wasn't about Izuku's powers or his heroic feats—this time, their focus was on something more personal.
"Did you guys notice during Ochaco's speech?" Mina whispered, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. "The way she she yelled such heartfelt words in Deku's defence? It's like, she wasn't just talking about *Deku* the hero. She was talking about *Izuku.*" Mina knows full well that Ochaco has a crush on Deku, she was eager to hear her treasured gossip group's thoughts. They were all going through a dark time with the league of villains right now,why not some lighthearted teenage love chit-chat?
Denki's eyes widened in realization. "Ohhh, I totally saw that! She was all passionate and stuff. I honestly thought it sounded like a silent confession."
Hagakure giggled, her invisible form bouncing with excitement. "You think she has a crush on him? I mean, she *did* get pretty worked up, and she always blushes around him!"
Sero leaned back in his chair, smirking. "I think it's pretty obvious. But you know what's funny?Aoyama told me about a time during hero training when those two worked together against Thirteen.Remember when we couldn't hear what they was saying?Aoyama mentioned Ochaco's love for Izuku and she totally lost it with pink cheeks and lost grasp of the bars!" Sero snickered.
Jirou chimed in,something that isn't her usual." I think Deku feels the same way about her. Have you noticed how nervous he gets whenever she's around?I get he's an awkward guy,but the way they interact is different from what I've seen with others."
Kirishima chuckled, crossing his arms. "I mean, come on. It's kind of hard to miss. Deku might be fearless in battle, but put him near Ochaco, and he's suddenly all shy and awkward. Our guy's definitely got a thing for her."
Mina's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Wait, so you all think it's mutual? Like, they both like each other, but they're too shy to admit it?I mean,I've thought this for ages, but, you guys too?" She squealed.
Denki nodded enthusiastically. "Totally! It's so obvious. They're both always looking out for each other, and remember how flustered Ochaco gets whenever someone mentions Deku's name? She's always the first to have his back in any situation too. They're definitely crushing on each other."
Hagakure clapped her hands together, even though no one could see. "Awww, that's so cute! But how long do you think it'll take before one of them finally makes a move?"
Mina grinned mischievously. "Who knows? Maybe we should give them a little *push* in the right direction. They seem very resistant, well especially Ochaco!"
Sero laughed, shaking his head. "Oh no, you're not going to start playing matchmaker, are you?"
Kirishima chuckled. "I think we should just let them figure it out on their own.Its bound to happen eventually."
Mina let out a dramatic sigh, throwing her arms up for emphasis. "But, I *know* Ochaco will never budge! She's way too shy to make the first move, and don't even get me started on Midoriya. He's probably overthinking everything like usual."
Denki chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, he's definitely the 'analyze every little thing' type. No way he'd just go for it."
Mina grinned mischievously, leaning in with a gleam in her eyes. "Exactly! So, if anything's gonna happen, it'll be in the heat of battle! Picture this—" she struck a dramatic pose, throwing her hand to her forehead. "Midoriya, covered in dust and bruises, turns to Ochaco in the middle of some huge fight. 'Ochaco!' he'd shout, with tears in his eyes. 'I never got to tell you... I've always loved you!' And then—BOOM—they embrace in the chaos!"
