Spencer comes up behind Derek wearing a Frankenstein mask as Emily is fixated on her screen and Callie is watching with her choice of coffee in her hand.
"I'm going to eat you." Spencer says in a tone and Derek turns around and jumps making Callie and Emily laugh.
"Reid!"
"Happy all hallow's eve, folks, to paraphrase from Celtic mythology, tommorow night, all order is suspended and the barriers between the natural and the supernatural are temporarily removed." Spencer explains as he takes a fake head out of a brown bag throwing it at the Emily and she catches it.
"See, that's right there is why Halloween creeps me out." Derek says pointing at Reid and Callie speaks up.
"Hey speak for yourself, it's officially spooky season and Salem is in his natural habitat" Callie says with a smile and Derek gives her a small smile.
"You're scared of Halloween?" Spencer asks
"I didn't say I was scared, I said I was creeped out. There's a difference there, youngster. You should look it up." Derek says jokingly
"What creeps you out about it?" Emily asks
"I don't know, people wearing masks. I don't like folks in disguises." Derek replies
"That's the best thing about Halloween. You can be anyone you want to be." Spencer points out
"True that" Callie says
"No, I'm pretty good just being me." Derek says simply
"Yeah, why is it that neither of those points of view surprise me?" Emily asks tilting her head with a small smirk
"You know what, though? On the flip side, it does provide a pretty good reason to cozy up with a scary flick and a little Halloween honey." Says with a smirk.
"Gross" Callie says crinkling her nose
"Ew! Halloween honey? Now I'm creeped out." Emily says making Callie laugh
