𖣂 CHAPTER FIVE 𖣂
"seeing the pain, seeing the pleasure"

He truly didn't mean it.

Honest.

As unbelievable as it sounds.

Steve had woken up for the second morning in a row far too close to Cassie.

This time they'd rolled closer together in their sleep, this time however, Steve's arms had completely wrapped around her, spooning her in their sleep.

And as if it couldn't get any worse, his crotch was pressed into her. He squeezed his eyes together with embarrassment, blushing slightly, as he realised the solid erection he had woken up with.

Cassie had to be asleep right now. Because if she woke up and found him pressed into her back like this Steve wouldn't know what to do with himself.

If there was a working shower in this cabin, Steve would be in it. With the water freezing cold.

His body was telling him different things. His head was telling him to stay alert and vigilant- he didn't know her. But down there was telling him something completely different. Steve had never been one for 'hook ups'. But Steve wasn't exactly who he used to be. He was a completely different person from who he was inside of Avengers tower. He could be anyone he wanted to be around her.

He didn't have to be Captain America anymore.

He could be someone who slept with other people without feelings involved if he really wanted to be.

He slowly pulled his arms away from her, and rolled over so his boner wasn't pressing against her anymore, and let himself, just for a moment, imagine.

He imagined kissing Cassie again.

He imagined kissing down her neck.

He imagined giving her hickeys.

He imagined taking her shirt off.

He imagined what her breasts might look like.

He imagined kissing down her stomach.

He imagined taking her pants off.

He imagined what she might taste like.

He imagined what it would be like to be inside her.

He imagined what her moans would sound like.

He imagined making her orgasm.

He imagined holding her.

"Hey."

He felt Cassie shaking his arm.

"Hey, man. You good?"

He snapped out of it, turning to Cassie to be faced with her concerned expression.

"Sorry." Steve replied, "Yeah, I'm good."

"Okay good," She said, "because you were staring at the roof like you were paralysed or something."

Steve sat up, leaning against the headboard, a small sigh escaping his lips.
