You clicked on the little box, watching a door appear on the screen and open, taking you to a web browser. You could close it anytime, but your curiosity kept you where you were.

There was a lump on a bed that had a canopy overhead. There was something underneath a {SDG's favorite color} blanket. Looking at the text box again, you could see three dots jumping up in down in a way, as if it was loading.

Suddenly, a girl jumped out from under the blanket, standing up on a white carpet, half of it being under the bed. She stared blankly at the screen with large eyes. The text box seemed to have finally loaded.

"Who are you?" There seemed to be a space where you could type. You carefully maneuvered your fingers across the keys. They pressed down so easily you could make the simplest spelling error by taping one. 'Y/n.'

An option seemed to pop up, a choice between asking who she was and to continue introducing yourself. 'Who are you?'

"Y/n is a really pretty name. I'm {name}. Why are you in my room?" {Name} blinked , sitting down on the blanket and settling herself on the bed. The typing box popped up on the screen again.

'I don't know.' It was loading for what felt like an eternity, only proving how slow your internet could be. "Well then, could you help me buy some food? I haven't been out of the house in a few days and have only been drinking tap water from my bathroom sink."

All that was left in the text box was the simple instruction, 'go to the store and buy {Name} something to eat and drink.'

You dragged the mouse around, letting it hover over things. You stopped on a picture that had fallen over, reading what it had to say.

It seems to be purposefully like that, maybe {Name} doesn't like it.

You clicked on it and it was restored to how it would have been before being flipped over. A question mark appeared above her head as the little character walked to the shelf to put it back on its face. "Don't touch my stuff."

"Rude.." you muttered, finally clicking on the door to navigate your way through the rest of her house. All you were met with was an empty hallway with plain, white walls. Nothing was hanging up like it was in her room.

"This game is... weird." You muttered, yet you were unable to stop playing. If piqued your interest, to say the least. The screen moved with your mouse as you found yourself in a sitting room. There was a television with a black screen and a couch that clearly hasn't been used in a while.

Remote— Has a few missing buttons and the batteries might be dead

No use turning something for {Name} on then, maybe she isn't one for TV anyways. The living room only had one painting on the wall, and it was rather strange. All it displayed was an angel in a graveyard, weeping as it clung to a tombstone that had scribbles all over it.

You hovered the mouse over it, getting confused when an item description didn't pop up. If a tiny remote has one, why not a large painting? You clicked on it to get a full screen of it, finally spotting some type of signature at the bottom. It was hard to read, but you could make it out. Valerie. It was in a pretty font that was a bit jumbled.

It was the only wall decor you saw so far, so of course you studied it for a few moments. The sky, trees, the monastery, even the details on the feathers. It didn't last long enough, and it closed out of the painting. You looked at the monochrome pad or a moment, staring at the variation of blue and grey. A couple specks of white.

You got bored of it, moving the mouse around in the living room. The last thing you let if hover over was a food bowl in the corner.

Food bowl— belongs to Valentine, there's even a few toys hiding behind it! Why did he have to run away?

Valentine was honestly such a cringy name for a pet, which you had assumed to be a cat. Too bad he ran away, maybe he would have been nice add-on to the game, maybe for side quests.

Scrolling even further, you found what you assumed to be the front door next to a kitchen. You clicked on it to get blinded by a fully white screen.

"Agh—?! Son of a bitch!" You were suddenly in first person, on a porch with the paint chipping off the exterior walls. The house clearly needed some touch ups and tender loving care.

And maybe to be rebuilt entirely, although the inside seemed perfectly fine. It was completely clean except for {Name}'s room, which had a few small piles of clothes on the floor, and a cup half empty with water.

"1,200 credits. Is that like money? Where's the store? It's just an empty street that stretches out forever!" Had you maybe been smart enough to try going the other way, you wouldn't have been trying to go in the same direction for ten minutes straight.

But anyways, you eventually found a supermarket that seemed to have fresh produce and large packs of water bottles! You wouldn't have to spend a lot of credits on this shopping trip if you spent them wisely.
