A/N: Aliza is canonically twelve, therefore this is absolutely not frans. It could be seen as familial love, though I personally don't think Sans could ever be a good father figure in horrortale due to his mental state, he could have his moments. Think whatever you want to think I guess, just enjoy! Comment your opinions!

Aliza ran through the endless maze of trees and snow, whimpers leaving her as she looked behind her. She couldn't see anything, but she heard the growls. She remembered what Flowey had said- something about how if you hear growling, you have to get out of there.

Her feet were frozen against the Snow- Aliza was sure to get frostbite by now. If these monsters didn't kill her, it would be exposure. She didn't have the energy to keep running like this- not enough food in her system. Adrenaline was one of the only things keeping her going.

Aliza lets out a gasp as she trips and falls onto her face, sitting up as she wipes the snow off her face and hair, turning and looking behind her.

A dog- at least, she thought it was a dog, though it was disgustingly disfigured was running at her, teeth barred and foaming at the mouth.

The dog monster stepped in a bear trap, its legs getting crunched in its metal grasps. It let out a loud howl, whining in pain.

Aliza couldn't help but feel her heart break as she caught her breath on the ground. It was once a small puppy.. innocent, sweet.. it had a mom and a dad.

Tears of fear and remorse prickled at her eyes, and she tried to push herself up off the ground, but she just wasn't strong enough. Too tired, with the adrenaline wearing off and almost zero sustenance in her blood.

Aliza began to cry, laying down on her side and sobbing into her arms. She was going to die here, wasn't she? Either eaten or frozen, lost deep in this forest.

'I want my mom, I want my mom, I want my mom.'

Aliza repeated the four words in her head, sobbing. The thoughts became vocal.

"...mommy..." She screamed, curling up into a pathetic little ball as she called out for her mother. She hasn't called her mother that since she was six or seven. She felt pathetic, crying out for someone who couldn't help her.

Aliza was dealing with so much- she was so scared and just wanted her mother to hold her. Rock her to sleep like she used to. Sing to her. Protect her in those warm, and strong arms, that were simultaneously soft and comforting.

"Get up." She hears a familiar voice chuckle. Her hair instantly stands up on her arms, as she turns herself to look up at the skeleton.

Sans looked scarier than normal, his grin eerily wide and his eyes too dim and wild.

"Calling for mommy?" He laughed bitterly, leaning down and getting into her personal space. Aliza subconsciously moved away from him- she didn't want to be anywhere near those jaws-

'I don't want to be eaten.' She thought, her tears were still streaming.

Sans' smile grew at her obvious discomfort. "Hey, I don't bite." He grabbed her by the wrist, bringing her forward as his mouth opened. "I chew."

Aliza shut her eyes, preparing herself for the sweet release of..

Him.

He lets go of her, laughing hysterically as she falls forward, crawling backwards quickly as she shivered.

"I'm just jokin'…" Sans wiped away non-existent tears, his smile unwavering.

Aliza didn't find the joke very funny. She tried to stand up two feet away from Sans, before falling to her knees again. Sans' eyes shifted into one of curiosity.

"Are ya seriously that helpless?" His voice was lacking the humor he just had two seconds ago- it was scary how quick his mood changed. Aliza simply stared at him in horror.

"Well, paps wants ya over for dinner." His humor returned, and he grabbed her by the wrist again, his grip still bruising as he pulled her to her feet, dragging her as she stumbled behind him, not stopping when she fell or stumbled- if she tripped, he would drag her.

Eventually they reached the front door of Sans and Papyrus' house, and Aliza found her way to her feet as Sans opened the door and stood to the side, a sinister glint in his eyes.

"Ladies first." He taunted.

Aliza entered- turning around to look for Sans, but he wasnt there.

"Who are ya' waiting for?" She jumped at the voice, whipping around to see Sans holding out a hotdog to her. How did he get there..?

The hotdog looked appetizing.. Aliza was starving. Her stomach felt like it was eating itself from the inside out. Her ribs too prominent and her arms and legs too thin. Aliza was always small, so after not having food for a little while she was too skinny. She reached for it, and surprisingly didn't get an arm chopped off. She took a bite- it was addicting.

As she finished up the hotdog, she realized Sans was gone, and Papyrus wasn't even there. She looked around, nervous. Maybe she should wait for Papyrus to get here.

She looked around the living room, her eyes curious. The windows were boarded up, and there were mysterious stains everywhere. The dust invaded her nostrils, and she let out a sneeze.

The couch looked surprisingly soft and inviting. A warm looking blanket was folded neatly on it, a pillow on the other end. A nap wouldn't be too bad, would it?

It was too tempting of an offer, and she gave in. She laid down on the couch, pulling the soft blanket up over her freezing form as she rested her head on the pillow. She shut her eyes, and passed out before she could question why the two skeleton monsters had a sleeping area set up with a blanket for keeping warm when they didn't have skin.

_____

Aliza woke up- the lights were off and the room was pitch black, and her instincts told her it had to be the middle of the night. She felt a presence next to her, but kept her eyes shut.

She felt something hover under her nose. She took a deep, shaky breath, and the object moved back to its original position, seemingly pleased with her.. what, breathing?

Someone pulled the blanket up further over her, tucking her in. She heard a stomach rumble, a familiar voice curse, and the presence disappeared.

What a weird day.
