Kaito clung to the side of a building, his body shrouded in invisibility thanks to his stealth skill. Above him, cadets zipped through the air with their ODM gear, racing toward the safety of HQ. Amid the chaos, Kaito's sharp ears picked up the familiar roar in the distance. Eren's titan form was rampaging.

I better move it, Kaito thought, focusing his attention on Mikasa, who was slicing through titans with cold precision. She didn't show it on her face, but Kaito could tell-she was consumed by rage and despair. The way she fought, emotionless yet brutal, told him everything. Eren's loss had hit her hard, and she was burning through her gas recklessly, all sense of caution gone.

Silently, Kaito followed behind her, keeping his stealth active. He moved with purpose, swinging gracefully through the air while subtly summoning shadow soldiers from the darkness. Igris and the Shadow Infantry emerged from his shadow, spreading out across the battlefield, covering more ground to kill any titans that comes close to him.

Moments later, he saw Mikasa's gas run dry. Her descent was rapid, and without hesitation, Kaito launched himself toward her, catching her mid-fall. Together, they soared to the nearest rooftop, his ODM gear bringing them safely to a halt.

Mikasa looked at him, startled, as if noticing him for the first time. Her face was blank, but her eyes betrayed the deep sadness within. She had lost all hope, and Kaito could see it.

"You know your selfishness will get people killed, right?" Kaito's words were blunt, but he knew Mikasa needed to hear them. She had to face the reality of the situation, no matter how painful.

Mikasa's eyes dropped, her shoulders slumping as guilt crept in. "My purpose for fighting was to protect Eren... He was the only family I had left," she murmured, her voice barely audible.

Kaito crouched down beside her, his tone steady but firm. "Do you think Eren would want this? For you to throw your life away?"

Mikasa's eyes widened slightly, tears brimming in her eyes as his words sank in. Her lips quivered as the tears spilled down her cheeks.

"If you die, your memories of Eren die with you. Letting yourself die is an insult to him. Get up and fight," Kaito urged, his voice carrying the weight of both compassion and stern resolve. This wasn't the time for gentle encouragement; it was time for Mikasa to grow, to realize that survival wasn't just for herself-it was for Eren too.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, wiping away her tears with the back of her hand. Her grip tightened on her blade. "My selfishness got people killed."

Her resolve hardened as she slowly rose to her feet. "I won't think about giving up anymore."

Before Kaito could respond, a loud roar echoed across the battlefield. Both he and Mikasa turned their heads to see a titan launching a punch at another titan, sending it crashing into the ground. Mikasa's eyes widened in shock.

"A titan... attacking another titan?" she muttered, her disbelief clear.

Kaito, however, knew exactly what he was looking at. The rogue titan was Eren's titan form, the Attack Titan, driven by rage and instinct. Eren was fighting, but barely conscious, his actions more primal than calculated.

Moments later, Armin landed beside them, his face a mixture of relief and urgency. "Kaito! Mikasa! You're both okay?"

Kaito nodded, but Mikasa remained fixated on the rogue titan, her gaze locked onto its every movement as it walked toward another titan. Armin followed her line of sight, his eyes widening in disbelief as the rogue titan delivered a powerful blow, sending the second titan crashing into a nearby tower.
