After lunch, Y/n, Angela, and Lauren separated for their next classes. Y/n was still adjusting to being the new kid in school. She gathered her books and made her way to the American History classroom.

As she entered the room, Y/n was greeted by the friendly face of her teacher, Mr. Xu. "Hello Y/n, welcome to class. I see you're our newest student," Mr. Xu said with a warm smile.

Y/n nodded shyly. "Yes, I just moved here a few days ago." "Well, we're happy to have you, I haven't met you when you enrolled last time and Ms. Jiang was the one who teach this" Mr. Xu replied. "You can take a seat anywhere you like."

Y/n scanned the room, taking in the unfamiliar faces of her classmates. Her eyes landed on an empty desk near the back. She made her way over and slid into the seat, trying to make herself comfortable.

As the class began, Y/n found herself struggling to focus. Her mind kept wandering to thoughts of her old home and the friends she had left behind. She missed everything about her old life, from the familiar streets to her favorite hangout spots.

Mr. Xu's voice brought Y/n back to the present. "Now, who can tell me about the significance of the Revolutionary War?" he asked the class. Y/n's hand shot up before she could stop herself.

"It was the war that won us our independence from Britain," she answered confidently. The rest of the class passed in a blur. When the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, Y/n gathered her things quickly. Meeting up with her two friends

It was a sunny day in Forks, Washington as Jessica Stanley walked into the gymnasium at Forks High School. She was surprised to see her friends Y/N, Lauren, and Angela already there, stretching and chatting before their weekly gym class. "Hey Jess!" called out Y/N with a wave. "Didn't expect to see you here today. Thought you were skipping gym again."

Jessica shrugged, grabbing a ball from the supply bin. "Figured I'd give it a shot. But promise me one thing - you guys won't laugh too hard when I totally fail at dodgeball, 'kay?"

Lauren grinned and playfully punched Jessica's arm. "Oh, you know we will. But hey, at least you'll provide the entertainment value!"

Angela rolled her eyes but smiled. "Don't be too hard on her, guys. Jess did agree to come, so points for effort."

As they took their places on the court, Coach Mrs. Berbaña, a middle-aged woman with a thick slight curly black hair, blew her whistle to get started. "Alright ladies, let's begin! Remember the rules - you get hit, you're out. Last one standing wins!"

The game began in a flurry of movement, balls flying through the air as the girls dove and dodged. Jessica tried her best, but it wasn't long before a red rubber ball smacked her square in the chest.

"Oof!" She stumbled back, clutching her chest dramatically. "You guys are ruthless!"

Y/N laughed, scooping up the ball. "Told you she wouldn't last long! But good job lasting as long as you did, Stan."

In the end, as always, it was Y/N and Lauren facing off. The gym grew quiet as the two girls circled each other warily, eyes locked, arms tensed and ready to throw.

With a burst of speed, Lauren hurled her ball. Y/N leapt gracefully out of the way, the ball whizzing past her ear. At the same time, she launched her own sphere - and it found its mark, smacking Lauren right in the stomach.

Lauren went down with an "oof," defeated. The class erupted into cheers as Y/N was declared the winner. She flashed a triumphant grin at her friends as she helped a groaning Lauren to her feet.
