Two months later

Taehyung pov:

Two months. It's been two agonizing months since Jungkook left us. Yoongi's absence has shifted the weight of caring for Aylia onto my shoulders. I've taken on the responsibility, ensuring she's safe and comforted.

But she's changed. She's withdrawn, speaking only when necessary. Her smile, once radiant, now a rare sight. Her eyes, once bright, now dull and lifeless.

Last week, she expressed her desire to return to work. Initially, I refused, worried about her fragile state. But she insisted, her determination sparking a glimmer of the woman she once was.

So, we compromised. We go to the office together, me keeping a watchful eye on her. It's been a challenge, balancing my own work with ensuring her well-being.

Thankfully, today's a weekend, a brief respite from the chaos. As I glanced at her, sleeping peacefully on the couch, my heart swelled with concern.

How could I bring back the vibrant woman Jungkook loved? The woman I've grown to care for deeply? The women I love, how can I bring back my same aylia

I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Taehyung- aylia

I whispered, gently shaking her awake. She stirred, her gaze meeting mine.

Taehyung- let's get out today

A hint of curiosity flickered in her eyes.

Aylia- where?

She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Taehyung- somewhere beautiful

I replied, smiling softly.

。。。。。

I led her to a serene botanical garden, hoping its tranquility would soothe her soul. We strolled hand in hand, the warm sun and gentle breeze a perfect accompaniment.

I pointed out vibrant flowers, shared stories, and made light jokes, desperate to coax a smile from her.

But her expression remained stoic, her eyes cast downward. I understood. Grief wasn't something to be easily shaken off.

As we sat on a bench, I received a call.

Taehyung- excuse me for a minute

I said, walking a short distance away. Engrossed in the conversation, I lost track of time. When I returned, she was nowhere to be found.

My heart sank.

Taehyung- aylia!

I called out, scanning the surrounding area, panic set in. Had she wandered off? Was she okay?

Aylia pov:

As Taehyung walked away, answering his call, I felt an overwhelming urge. Jungkook's grave was nearby, and I couldn't resist. Without a word, I stood up and slipped away, leaving him behind.

Sobs wracked my body as I hurried through the winding paths. Tears blurred my vision, but I knew every step. Just minutes later, I entered the serene cemetery.

Rows of headstones stretched before me, each one a reminder of love lost.

My feet carried me to Jungkook's grave, as if drawn by an invisible thread. I collapsed onto the soft grass, hands trembling as I traced the letters on his headstone.

Aylia- jungkook

I whispered, my voice shattered.

Tears poured down, a relentless torrent. I felt his absence acutely, as if the wound had reopened.
