I had fallen asleep after watching tv and when I woke up, I had a pounding headache and I was outside?...
I didn't remember going outside before I fell asleep. I stood up and looked around, hoping to see something familiar. I didn't see much but a saw a house in the distance. I started walking towards the house, hoping that whoever was inside could help me find my way home. I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door, patiently waiting for a response. When the door opened, I was completely surprised by who or what was standing in front of me. They had small horns and long blonde hair. They were also incredibly skinny and their skin looked fuzzy? I don't know nor did I have the time to question. I just wanted to get home. Anyway, I took a deep breath and started the conversation. "Hello." I said. "Hiya!" They said with a small wave. "I'm sorry to bother you but do you happen to know where I am? I seem to be lost and I'm trying to find my way back." I said. "It's alright friend! You're in a place called Welcome Home! I'm Julie by the way! Sorry for not mentioning my name earlier." Julie said sheepishly. I froze. Hearing the words, "Welcome Home" rang through my head. There's no way... It can't be possible... There's no possible way I'm... "I-I'm in Welcome home?" I shakily whispered. It was loud enough for Julie to hear. "That's right! Although, you look a bit bothered by that new friend. Is there something wrong?" Julie asked. She saw the shaken and confused expression on my face. "I-I'm okay. I... I guess I'm just a little confused." I said. "How so friend?" Julie asked with her head tilted. "I'm... I'm not supposed to be here. I don't belong here. Before I got here I was watching tv on my couch before I fell asleep." I said. My voice was shaky and quiet. I still couldn't grasp how I got here or why I was brought here. "Oh dear. That sounds scary but I can assure you friend that, you are never not meant to be somewhere. Everyone is in a certain place for a reason!" Julie said with a reassuring smile. "Thanks Julie. I appreciate your kindness." I said. "It's not a problem new friend. How about I show you around. Maybe it will help you calm down." Julie suggested. "Sure. That sounds good." I said. Julie then walked me around town. I got to meet some of the neighbors and they were pretty friendly. A little cartoonish but they are from a kids show so it makes sense. We were walking past the grocery store when we saw another neighbor. This one was yellow with blue hair and a mostly primary colored outfit. Julie excitedly waved at him to get his attention and walked over to him. "Heya Wally!" Julie excitedly said. "Hello there Julie." Wally said. He happened to notice me and started walking in my direction. "My, my Julie. You didn't tell me we were having a visitor today." Wally said jokingly as he continued to approach. "Sorry about that Wally. I wasn't aware of getting company today either. This was a bit of a surprise." Julie said. "Very well then. It's nice to meet you neighbor! I'm Wally Darling but everyone calls me Wally." Wally said. "It's nice to meet you too Wally. I'm Y/N." I said. "That's a very lovely name you have neighbor." Wally said. He gave a small smile afterwards which put a smile on my face. He had such a nice smile. "Thank you." I said while smiling. "You're welcome neighbor." Wally said. We waved Wally goodbye and continued to walk and meet new neighbors. Once we made a full circle, she allowed me to just wander around and have fun for a while. I ended up going to swing on the swing set with sally for a little bit and talking about silly things. We both really like acting and putting on shows and agreed to play together some time. I left and started walking around again before bumping into Wally again. He was walking in the opposite direction but we struck up a conversation and stayed there for a while. "Hi Wally." I said with a small smile. "Hello again neighbor. How are you this evening?" Wally asked. I hadn't even noticed how dark it had gotten. I guess time didn't work the same here than it did at home."I'm good. How are you?" I asked? "I'm doing fine this evening. Just taking a night stroll." Wally said. "Me too. It's pretty nice out tonight." I said with a small smile. "Indeed it is. Would you like to walk with me, neighbor?" Wally asked. "Sure. I'd love to." I said. "Great. Come along neighbor." Wally said. We started walking and talking as we walked around the neighborhood. We eventually stopped near a small opening in between Julie and Sally's house. There was a house that wasn't there at first. The house was colored with a purple gradient and it and a wide range of purple colors. I turned to face wally since I noticed he stopped talking. He had an eerie smile on his face and his looked almost like they got bigger. He looked me in the eye with that ever eerie smile and said, "Welcome Home neighbor."———————————————————————————
