There is no telling how long I was out for. I slowly opened my eyes as waves of pain rolled over me. I looked around and noticed it was still day out. I slowly sat up but quickly scrunched up in fear as I heard footsteps approaching my door. Wally walked in and noticed my scared expression again. He slowly approached my bed and sat down on it, looking me in the eyes. The silence and staring was only scaring me further as I started seeing the eyes again. I was panicking in my head, which only made my pounding head even worse. "You need to calm down neighbor. You can't think straight, and you can't breathe from panicking." Wally said. He was looking me straight in the eyes, leaning forward slightly. I stopped and looked at him. How did he know what I was thinking? I tried to calm down, but I was struggling. Wally rubbed my back soothingly, trying to help me calm down. I leaned onto him, my head pounding becoming unbearable and making me feel incredibly dizzy. I curled up and nuzzled into him. His felt and plush body felt nice and comforting to me at the moment. I didn't care about anything right then other than comfort at that moment. That also included the blushing yellow puppet that has his arms around me right now. I really didn't have the mental capacity to care or even acknowledge anything. Wally held me for a while before grabbing me some medicine and snacks. Wally spent the whole day with me and made sure I was okay throughout the day. When night came around, he checked on me one last time before going to his Home. After a while, I fell asleep and I slept through the night. I woke up the next morning feeling much better. I got out of bed and showered, allowing the hot water to refresh me and relax me. I finished showering and changed into a purple crop top with stars on it and some black cargo pants accompanied by a cropped jacket. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed a snack before walking out the door. I walked around for a while. I saw Wally painting near a small lake and walked over. "Good morning Wally!" I said. "Good morning neighbor. How are you this lovely morning?" Wally asked. "I'm alright. How are you?" I asked. "I'm doing pretty good this morning neighbor. Just taking a moment to paint and relax." Wally said. "Mind if I sit with you?" I asked. "Not at all! You're welcome to sit with me neighbor." Wally said. I sat next to him and enjoyed the view and silence. A nice breeze was flowing in the air and the sun was shining down on us. I sat there with Wally for a while, occasionally talking and laughing about silly topics. I shared a snack I had in my pocket. I had an apple with me but I didn't want it anymore. I gave it to him and for some odd reason, he was really excited about it. I ate the last of my snack and said my goodbyes to Wally before going to visit some more neighbors. I went and talked with Eddie and Frank. They are really nice and surprisingly funny. I had a good conversation with them before going to play around with Barnaby. He did some tricks on his big ball and told me some jokes. I ended up visiting everyone today and just hanging around for a while. I was going back to Eddie and Frank's but I ended up bumping into Eddie. He dropped the package and I picked it up. It was addressed to Wally and I offer to take it to him. He appreciated it and I started walking towards Home. I walked up to the sentient house and gently knocked, not wanting to upset the house. It looked down at me but it didn't open the door. I stood there confused as to why he wasn't opening up. I looked at the house's eyes and stared for a moment before snapping out of it and tried knocking again. This time a little harder. The house was slightly annoyed but allowed me inside after a little. I gently patted the wall of the house and he seemed to cheer up once I did. I sat down the package on the little table near the door and headed towards the door to leave but stopped when Wally called for me. "Hey Y/N! I'm sorry I didn't answer the door. I was a little busy." Wally said. I noticed he seemed out of breath but decided not to question. It's not my business anyway. "It's alright Wally. I just dropped off a package for you. It's alright really." I said. "Alright. Well would you like a tour of Home? I never got around to asking you and since you're already here, I think now would be a great time." Wally said. "Sure. Sounds good." I said. "Okay! Well, this is the living room, it isn't much but it's quite cozy." Wally said. He had a recliner near a window, a couch centered in the middle and a sofa chair on the other side of the couch that was angled similar to the recliner. There was a coffee table with a rug underneath and a little TV on a stand to top it off. "It does look pretty cozy." I said. It was simple but comfortable. Although my house doesn't show it, I truly appreciate a setting like that. Wally led me down the hall and was pointing out all the rooms. "That's my bathroom, my library is at the end of the hall and my bedroom is on this side." Wally said. He opened his bedroom door and allowed me inside. He had his bed on the wall closest to the window and a small night stand next to it. He also has a tall dresser on the opposite side of the room. His room had a nice smell to it. It was like warm vanilla. "Well, that's all really. There's nothing else to show." Wally said. "You have a lovely home Wally. It's very cozy. It doesn't have to be much as long as you're comfortable." I said. "Thanks Y/N." Wally said. "It's not a problem Wally. I'll see you around alright?" I said. I was heading towards the door again when Home moved the floorboards and pushed me back. I stumbled slightly and Wally caught me. "Come on Home, be nice. Y/N wants to leave." Wally said. The house creaked in response. It didn't sound too happy about that. "Don't worry Home. I'll be back. Promise." I said. I gently rubbed one of the walls and smiling as I heard the happy response of the house before heading out and going over to Poppy's since I promised to help bake some cookies. I knocked on her barn door and she poked her head out to see who was there. "Oh! Hello Y/N." Poppy said. "Heya Poppy! I'm here to help make some awesome cupcakes. You ready?" I asked. "Mhm. Come on in." Poppy said. I walked inside the barn and washed my hands before hopping up and starting on the batter for the cupcakes. I had been at Poppy's house for a while making cupcakes and talking. Once we were done, she sent me off with some cupcakes we made and I waved goodbye to her as I walked out. I snacked on one of the cupcakes and headed home for the day as the sun was nearly set. I had spent all day hanging out and was looking forward to enjoying a nice meal and a hot shower to end the day off. I set my cookies down and started making dinner, every now and again watching TV while my food cooked. I was making spaghetti and it's my absolute favorite. I finished making dinner, sat down and watched TV while eating, and got ready for bed. I settled in and fell asleep, getting some much needed rest. The next morning I changed into a purple and white shirt with some jeans before heading out for the day. I had walked around for a while before stopping to talk to Julie and chat for a while before going to relax in the nice shade of a tree as the breeze blew by. I had just relaxed there for who knows how long. I had eventually got up and started walking around again and the entire time, I didn't see Wally. That concerned me a little bit and I started to worry about him. I figured I was overthinking it and he would just come out when he's ready. No matter how hard I tried though, I couldn't stop worrying about him. I finally convinced myself to go check on him. I walked up to Home and gently knocked on the door. Home was hesitant to let me in but he opened the door and I gently rubbed the wall as a thanks. I walked in and started calling out for him. I stopped for a moment once Home closed the door. It basically slammed shut which scared me but I brushed it off and continued to call out for Wally. I eventually had an idea, although it was creepy, it might just work. "Wally, if you can read my mind then do something to let me know you're here." I thought. I heard a faint sound coming from the hallway and I followed the sound of the noise until I found Wally. Once I did, I covered my mouth in shock and horror at what I saw...
