"Kibitsuji has sent demons to another country. America is in danger, and we need someone to execute the demons. I know that you know English, and I'm sure you'll be the only capable slayer able to communicate with the locals. I need you to go to America, Shinazugawa."
A youthful male sat opposite of another male, the latter's blinded eyes boring comfortingly into the former's general direction.
"I'm more than certain that you will be able to complete this mission that has been bestowed upon you, Shinazugawa [Y/N]." The black-haired male's voice soothed the [H/C]-haired boy, and the tension that hung stiffly in the air of silence was shattered into millions of digestible pieces.
"With all due respect, Oyakata-sama, what if emergency calls, and I will need to help?" [Y/N] spoke softly to Kagaya, the leader of the corps merely smiling reassuringly.
"There are still eight more hashiras, and thousands of other slayers. You don't need to worry about the safety of the others."
"If that is what you wish of me, then I shall do as you command..." [Y/N] bowed his head deeply, his forehead rested against the pebbly ground of the Ubuyashiki household. It didn't matter if he saw it or not, Oyakata-sama deserved all the respect possible.

That is how [Y/N] ended up here, in the massive continent that is the US.
[Y/N] had already gone through several states, killing off the demons there that were lurking in the shadows of the tall and plentiful buildings.
But now he had to go to the one place that he was avoiding with all of his will power: South Park.
[Y/N] knew otherwise then to never go there, knowing that the tall mountains surrounding the small town and the large forest circling South Park would provide a perfect home for demons, meaning it would be impossible to avoid.
He knew he would have to face his fears, meeting his biological family. They had abandoned him, and [Y/N] had managed to end up in Japan as a six year old, being adopted by the Shinazugawa family. An... event caused the Shinazugawa name to be mostly killed off, leaving only the [H/C]-haired male, [Y/N]'s younger adopted brother: Genya, and the hateful spite that [Y/N] felt for Genya.
But that lead him here, at the outskirts of the small, snowy town with a sign next to him that lead to the dread inducing residence. [Y/N] knew that he would have to meet his twin brother and 'younger brother' --- who had been adopted by [Y/N]'s biological family, like how the Shinazugawa family adopted him.
[Y/N] had already walked quite far just to reach here ---- the prospect of getting a vehicle pointless since he didn't know how to drive, or how to get one --- so he was exhausted. [Y/N]'s legs felt like they were about to give out beneath him, so he had quickly started up on his journey to finally reach the house.
Pulling out a small piece of paper from his cropped haori pocket, the scraggly hiragana characters that had a description of the house and the address. [Y/N] had struggled to learn to read, and his writing was still horrendous --- and English was an entire different thing, he could speak the language but even trying to grasp the idea of being illiterate in English was like wanting to have wings and fly, without being remotely demon-like.
It only took five minutes to reach the house, the two-story house towering uncomfortably over [Y/N]'s head. His hand paused briefly at the door as he hesitated to knock. The moon shone brightly above him, the night seemingly calm despite the demons he knew were lurking the streets freely.
Rapping the knuckles against the wooden door, quite shuffling sounded on the opposite site of the door as someone seemed to be awoken up from there sleep on the... couch?
Someone [Y/N]'s age opened the door, his bright red afro tangled and messy from being freshly woken up, the boy's green eyes tired and droopy. The boy looked utterly confused, as to why someone unfamiliar to him had shown up at his door.
"Are you..." [Y/N] knew exactly why he was familiar, it was impossible for someone else to look so much like... him, Kyle "...Kyle Broflovski..?"
"Erm... Yes, what brings you here..?" Kyle quirked his eyebrow at me.
"I'm your twin brother, Sh- [Y/N] Broflovski... Nice to meet you again, Itoutou..."
Kyle looked dumbfounded, utterly confused at the situation.
"I-it's nice to meet you... I certainly missed you... Kyle..." [Y/N] smiled, a soft, warm, soothing smile that would have been impossible to be conjured on any other occasion.
"M-mom! Come here!" The red-headed boy called up the stairs, no longer caring if he woke anyone up. Soon enough, a pretty enough, fat, red-headed lady walked down the stairs in her pajamas. "I have a twin brother!?"
