Um so we ended up kissing

When I woke up and saw him next to me it was like everything was back to normal, it was like we never broke up in the first place, all of that was just a bad dream and I just woke up. Too bad it was too good to be true. We're starting all over again but in a good way at least we both can communicate better, learn to be together, learn to love each other again like we used to. I'm glad I have him in my life again. Some times a second chance isn't the best option but for us it was needed in order to become better versions of ourselves. How can you love someone else if you don't love yourself.

I kiss Mattia's cheek and try to get out of his grip without waking him up. I go to the bathroom and start getting ready for the day. I went downstairs to make some French toast for us both and realized that our friends were coming over for a sleepover. I wonder if we should tell them or wait for a bit just in case. I want to tell them honestly but it hasn't even been a whole day yet. I heard the shower turn on upstairs meaning he's awake.

We still have to discuss if we're going to tell our friends or keep it a secret for a bit. I don't want them to be mad at us if we decide not to tell them but keeping it low key does mean telling our closest friends. I'll talk to Mattia about it before they arrive in the evening. I heard him come down the stairs perfect now we can talk.

Mattia: Good morning baby

Y/n: Good morning bubs

It feels like we never even broke up in the first place. It's like I just went on a vacation myself and came right back.

Mattia: You made French toast without burning the kitchen down wow I'm impressed

Y/n: Okay no food for you

Mattia: I'm kidding

He walks over and kisses my forehead

Y/n: Totally anyways we need to talk

Mattia: I hate when you use those words

Y/n: It's nothing serious trust me I just want to know if we should tell our friends we're dating or are we keeping this a secret

Mattia: I don't mind if you don't mind. They're the closest people to us at the end of the day so I feel like we should unless you don't want to

Y/n: Okay thankgod because I can't keep a secret from Kairi he like always finds a way to make me spill the tea he's cleaver

Mattia: I know what you mean by that he always ends up figuring out what we get him for his birthday before it even happens

Y/n: I wonder how they're going to react honestly. Do you think they'll be surprised?

Mattia: I'm going to be honest No I don't think they'll be surprised I think they're going to say "that was quicker than I imagined"

Y/n: What do you mean?

Mattia: Ale and Nai had a feeling as soon as you came back I wouldn't be able to stay away from you which they were right

Y/n: It's always those two who instantly know and some how Kairi can just sense it, Avani on the other hand just becomes protective of me

Mattia: She threatened me that if you ever gave me a chance again and I hurt you in anyway that she would kill me. She scared the living shit out of me for some reason

Y/n: That's because we all know she would kill you. Who do you think will be the most shocked?

Mattia: I feel like they all see it coming

Y/n: And why do you say that

Mattia: Because they know how much I love you and how much I've changed just to have another chance with you. They've been on this journey with me for almost 3 years they know I wasn't going to give up especially when you returned and now that you're here I think they'll all be pretty happy that we're together
