It was a few mornings after their trip to Sokcho, and the dorm buzzed with a strange, anticipatory energy. Y/n and Winter had decided it was finally time to break the news to the rest of the girls—they were officially a couple. The thought was both nerve-wracking and exciting, especially with how close-knit the group had become. But, in the end, honesty felt like the best policy, and they wanted everyone on the same page.

Y/n and Winter stood side by side in the living room, their hands clasped tightly together. Across from them, Karina, Giselle, and Ningning were perched on the couch, eyes wide with anticipation. The room felt charged, like a bomb about to go off—but in the fun, chaotic way they were all too familiar with.

Y/n cleared his throat, feeling the nerves bubble up. "So, uh, Jeongie and I... have something to tell you."

Winter noticed how tense Y/n was and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. She stepped up, her voice calm but excited. "We're dating."

For a moment, the room went completely silent. Y/n braced himself for a barrage of questions, maybe some teasing or even heartfelt congratulations. But of course, with these girls, nothing ever went the way he expected.

"FINALLY!!" Giselle groaned. "I was waiting when the hell you guys gonna tell us."

"I'm with her." Karina pointed. "It's not even a surprise. You asked for our permission, Y/n."

"Wait, you did?" Winter turned to Y/n, who gave her a sheepish nod.

Ningning shot up from the couch like she'd been waiting her whole life for this moment. "Oh my god, it's like a K-drama plot twist!"

"Well it's not really a twist-" Giselle pointed out.

"Whatever, We need to act this out!" She immediately grabbed Karina by the arm, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Karina-unnie, you're the disapproving mom. I'll be the overprotective sister. And Giselle-unnie, you're... um, you can be the nosy neighbor."

Giselle blinked in confusion. "Why am I always the random character?"

Ningning waved her off. "Just roll with it. We have a scene to perform!" She quickly pushed Karina forward, who immediately got into character, crossing her arms with an exaggeratedly stern expression. "Action!"

"Jung Y/n," Karina began, her voice dripping with mock authority, "you think you can waltz in here and date my precious daughter? Not without proving your worth!"

Y/n rubbed his temples, already feeling the embarrassment creeping up. "Aish, come on..."

But Karina was already committed. She jabbed a finger at Y/n, eyes narrowing dramatically. "You better promise me one thing: never, ever hurt my daughter's heart!"

Winter covered her face, half mortified, half amused. "This is so unnecessary."

Ningning wasn't finished yet. She stepped forward, her expression overly dramatic, clutching Giselle's arm. "As the concerned sister, I must protect my family! What are your intentions, huh? Are you here for love, or just because you like free food and a warm place to sleep?"

"...wait that sounds kinda go-" Y/n interjected.

"Don't fcking ruin it again!" Ningning exploded. "Action!"

Karina pretended to sob into Giselle's shoulder. "My sweet baby Winter... leaving us for a man who...has a very nice ex who is also our fan....and also dances awkwardly in front of the mirror when he thinks no one's watching."

"Ok that is mean." Y/n's face turned red. "And that was one time!"

Winter was laughing so hard she could barely stand. "Unnie, stop! You're making it sound like I'm moving out of the dorm!"
