It’s been a long day, and you’re feeling a bit off. You planned to meet up with Jin, your best friend, after his schedule, hoping to spend some quality time together. But when you arrive at the café you both always hang out at, you see him sitting with some of his other close friends, laughing and chatting like there’s no tomorrow.
A pang of jealousy hits you out of nowhere. You know it’s silly, but seeing him so engaged with someone else stings a little. You turn around before Jin sees you and leave, deciding to take a walk to clear your head.
Your phone buzzes—it's Jin.
Jin: "Where are you? Thought we were meeting?"
You don’t respond right away. Instead, you keep walking, trying to shake the feeling of being left out. A few minutes later, another message pops up.
Jin: "Are you okay? I don’t see you."
You sigh, finally typing back. "I’m fine. Just not feeling it today. You looked busy."
Within minutes, you hear hurried footsteps behind you. You turn around, and there he is—Jin, out of breath, his expression filled with concern.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asks, stepping closer.
You try to brush it off, but Jin knows you too well. "I saw you with your other friends, and I didn’t want to interrupt. I guess I just... felt left out," you admit quietly, avoiding his gaze.
Jin’s eyes soften, and without missing a beat, he wraps you in a big, warm hug. "Yah, how could you feel left out? You’re my best friend! No one else comes close to you, seriously."
You feel a little silly, but his words bring comfort. "It’s just... sometimes I forget that you have other people in your life, and I guess I get insecure."
He pulls back, giving you that famous, gentle Jin smile. "No matter who I’m with, you’re my number one. Don’t ever doubt that. Now come on, let’s go eat. I ditched them for you."
You can’t help but smile, your worries melting away as Jin nudges you toward a nearby restaurant. "Let’s get some food, my treat. Anything to make you feel better," he says, linking his arm with yours.

You’ve been feeling a little off all day, and when you finally make it to the studio to hang out with Suga, you’re greeted by an unexpected scene. He’s sitting in the corner with a few of his other friends, laughing quietly, his signature smirk plastered on his face. For some reason, it rubs you the wrong way.You had been looking forward to catching up with him, but seeing him so engaged with someone else makes you feel... replaced. Instead of going in, you decide to turn around and leave before they notice you. But as you step away, your phone buzzes.
Suga: "You coming in, or are you just gonna stand there looking weird?"
You roll your eyes. Of course, he noticed. You pause, debating whether or not to reply, but before you can decide, the studio door swings open. Suga steps out, arms crossed, looking at you with that classic unimpressed look.
"Are you seriously standing out here like some drama character?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.
You cross your arms, feeling defensive. "You seemed busy. Thought I’d leave you with your other friends."
Suga doesn’t even flinch. He just stares at you for a second before letting out a small, amused laugh. "Seriously? You're upset because I was talking to other people?" His tone is teasing, but there’s something reassuring about it.
"Well, yeah. I thought we were hanging out," you mumble, avoiding his eyes.
He shakes his head and steps closer, tapping you lightly on the forehead. "I don’t have time for this," he says, his voice dry but not unkind. "You’re upset because of that? Get in here, weirdo. You’re my favorite person to hang out with, and you know it."
