The next day, Karen and the kids were at home, still trying to calm down from that whole ordeal, when suddenly, Karen got a call from Simmons.
She picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"Hello Mrs. Guy, I'm-"
Karen interrupted. "Actually, I'm in the process of divorcing Brooklyn and want to go by my maiden name as a last name, so call me Ms. Baker, or just Karen."
"Well then, Karen, there's a child about to be placed in foster care right now that's actually Brooklyn's son. Would you like to take custody of him?"
Karen was shocked. "Wait, what do you mean? He had another child he never told me about?"
"Well you see, Brooklyn had an affair on his ex wife and the woman cut all contact with him before she realized she was pregnant. She recently died from a brain tumor but before she died she confessed who the true father of her son was, his name is Robin and he's ten years old."
Karen was almost speechless. "Oh my god, well of course I'll adopt him!"
"Great ma'am, just come down to the station and we'll have the paperwork ready."

Needless to say the kids were equally as shocked when hearing the news, however they were alright having another sibling.
Karen muttered to herself. "We definitely need to buy a house in the near future."
Karen had discovered after the first arrest that Brooklyn actually made millions from his jobs and was just hiding all that money from them, so Karen was going to use it for the family, she was also able to take one of Brooklyn's jobs, which was a hairdresser.

Robin sat in the chair at the police station, somewhat timid and anxious, fiddling with his thumbs.
He was scared, his mom had just died a week ago and now he was going to live with people he didn't know.
Suddenly, Simmons came up to him and spoke.
"Hey there, Robin. Karen is on her way so get your stuff ready." He said, attempting to hype the child up.
Robin looked at Simmons nervously with his blue eyes looking into his also blue eyes. "Alright, I'll go get my luggage's."

About thirty minutes later, Karen had arrived and was finished filling out the adoption papers.
Karen looked at the boy and cracked a smile trying to lighten the mood.
She wanted to give him something to look forward to. "It's gonna be okay, you have siblings back at home you can get to know."
~
Penelope was the first to say something. "Hey there, you're my little brother, I'm here if you need anything or just want to spend time together."
"I always wanted a brother!" Cooper blurted out.
Eva then lastly said. "Another brother!"
Robin thought this wasn't so bad.
Robin smiled. "I always wanted siblings."
