JASPER TURNED OFF his new blacked out 2024 Maserati Ghibli Modena Ultima, getting out and locking it before licking his lips, adjusting his black fur lined hood. Sighing, he walked up the dingy concrete steps that lead to Zakai's apartment.
Before Jasper could even wipe the crust from his eyes, Kai blew up his phone, demanding, not asking, that he came over and that he had something to show him. Knowing his big brother, that could've meant a plethora of things but he knew not to question him too much. Kai never really got upset with Jasper but it was something Jas didn't even want to deal with.
Finally making it to the third floor, Jas looked around after knocking on the hunter green door, hearing the gold flap clink against it. He stepped back when he heard the locks turning, getting ready to greet Kai until he saw Melody. "Oh, hey, Jas. Came over for Kai?"
"Jasper." He flatly corrected and nodded his head, brushing past her. "Where he at?"
"I don't know, he told me to come over too. I just got here a few minutes before you did." Mel said and closed the door, locking it behind him.
Jas pulled down his hood and took his black Moncler coat off, letting it sink behind him as he did in the love seat. He watched Melody walk over to the couch and sit down too, twisting her lined glossy lips to the side as she awkwardly looked around.
While Melody didn't really have an issue with Jasper, Jasper couldn't stand her ass. Even when they went to school together, he thought she was fake and she loved to pretend that she was fake bougie when in reality, she was one of the most ran through girls in the county. Then when he learned that he cheated on Zakai, he lost all respect for her entirely. That moment outside of the gas station was just him being polite because he knew that Kai was still keeping her around for some reason.
"So-"
"No thanks, not really in the mood for conversation." He mumbled as he cut her off. "Man, this nigga needs to hurry up."
Zakai pulled Zakaiya out of the bubbly bath water and draped her in a towel, pulling the Batman hood over her head as she shivered. "I'm cold." She started to whine.
"I know mama, I know." He cooed and picked her up, walking out of the bathroom and into his bedroom, turning the light on and closing the door. "Sit tight for me, okay? No tears."
"Okay." She frowned and rubbed her eyes, still being sleepy.
Kai opened the drawer he made for her and pulled out some Hello Kitty pajamas, closing it and grabbing some of the baby lotion that was in the bag he took from Jamie's house. "You like these?" He held up the pajamas and she nodded, popping her thumb into her mouth.
