"Go ahead," I asked sitting down at the edge of the boardwalk, Hayes joining my side
"Why are you like this?" Hayes asked finally looking at me instead of the view in front of us.
"You gotta do what you gotta do to do survive I guess," I shrugged not thinking about it.
"But now you don't have to survive, you can live." He said staring at me intently, as if he was looking for the answer on my face
"It's not that simple.." I mutter looking down at my shoes.
"Are you even happy with how you are living right now?"
"I guess in some way I am, I know for sure I act happier than I actually am."
His face immediately turns into a frown and anger is shown on his face.
"Well I hope you find the happiness, you've been pretending to have," he mutters, standing up quickly and walking over to the boys, leaving me temporarily stunned but the sudden action.

Don't worry I'm gonna do a part two but everyone has been anxious and on my ass to update (not that it's a bad thing) and this is better than nothing.
