I wake up early in the morning. The sky is still dark, the sun barely starting to rise.
Monday.
Back to school.
This weekend has felt like a lifetime to me. I am so not ready to go back to school.
I take a shower, and the gentle falling water feels good on my back and neck. I breathe in the moist, steamy air for a long while before carefully stepping out of the shower. When I walk over to my dresser to choose an outfit for today, my phone goes off loudly. It's a call from Niall.
"Niall, what do you want. I have to go to school today." I say lazily.
"Oh. Erm... I wanted to say good morning."
"Well, good morning to you. Now, please let me get dressed. Niall, I just got out of the shower." I'm glad he can't see my face turning pink; I feel a surge of embarrassment.
"Oh, so I interrupted you from putting on clothes?" he says, wryly.
"Just let me get dressed!"
I put down the phone and pick out a simple outfit, ripped jeans and a skin-tight blue T-shirt. I slip them on quickly, then get to brushing my hair. My bristly hair brush glides through my hair easily, forming soft waves as it goes along.
Now, time for school.
Ugh.

When I arrive at school, I jump off of the bright yellow school bus in a hurry.
"Hey, Sammy!" I hear Ainsley's voice from behind me.
"Hi." I reply. She half runs, half power-walks towards me. She slows as she draws nearer.
We walk along in silence, not sure of what to say. When we reach the entrance to our school, we urgently walk inside, for we are both running late. We hustle up the stairs to our lockers, and then to homeroom, just as the bell that signals first period rings. My first period class is science today. It goes by quickly, and most of the time I'm busy thinking of Niall.
The rest of the day seems as if it will never end. The windy day drags on for what seems like an eternity. But when the last bell finally rings, guess who's waiting to pick me up from school?
"Niall!" As soon as I walk outside the door, I rush over to him and leap into his arms. When I do, he stumbles a little, not expecting the extra weight from my bag.
"Hi, love. I've missed you; I haven't seen you all day!" He wryly grins.
"Wow, a whole day? You must be itching to see me." I stupidly smirk at him.
People start to stare and point, but no one dares to interrupt us.
I was planning on taking the bus again, but Niall drives me home.
When we get back to the apartment building, he drops me off at my room. He starts to leave, but I don't want him to.
"No! Don't leave! I... need help with my homework! Yeah, that." I say, not thinking of another reason that isn't embarrassing.
"Oh, fine." So he stays.
We work on homework together for a few hours, and when it's over, Niall suggests we order something to eat.
"Of course, Niall wants food." I say, playfully swatting him on the shoulder. "But, I guess I'm a bit hungry too."
He gives me a mocking smile and grabs his phone. "So what should we get to eat?" he asks.
"Hm... How about Chinese food? I know a great place that delivers." I give him the number to the local Chinese food place and he calls in. He orders just about everything on the menu.
When he hangs up, I punch him in the shoulder. "You pig!"
"Well, it's not like you're not gonna help me finish it!" He punches my shoulder back, with strong hands.

When our food arrives, Niall pays the delivery man and we dig in. There's chow mein, steak teryaki, pork fried rice, and all different kinds of food. Niall salivates at the smell of it all.
By the time all the food is gone, I'm stuffed. It's around 9:05 P.M. and I'm starting to get tired.
"You look tired, babe."
"Is it that obvious?"
"Yeah, it is." He half-heartedly laughs. I guess he's tired, too. "I should get going, so you can get some sleep."
"No! You need to tuck me into bed," I say.
"Oh alright."
I quickly change into my sleepwear, and I hop into my bed. Niall covers me with the blankets, and carefully fluffs my pillow.
"Okay, you're all tucked in now," he says with a mocking half-smile. He plants a gentle kiss on my cheek before he says, "Good night, love," and leaves.
"Good night, Niall." I call as he lumbers over to the door. "See you tomorrow."

Moments (A Niall Horan Fan Fiction)
FanfictionThis was my first story, written in seventh grade. It's not very good, and my writing has grown and developed since then. I advise whoever's reading this to read Waiting For You or Taken Away(which is still being written).
