Taylor's pov

It's 12 30 and we are pulling out of the garage which means with no stops we should be there by 4 ish Im happy my security let it just be me and trav because it can be awkward sitting in the backseat while two other people can hear your conversations. considering I don't think travis is going to want me driving I came prepared with a stuffed animal and a blanket.

I'm sitting in the passenger seat when travis finally gets us on the highway "You look cozy" He says when I lay my seat back a tiny bit and pull my blanket to my neck "I am" I respond just looking over at him while he drives. He reaches over and puts his hand on my thigh giving me instant butterflies

I rest my hand on his playing with his fingers to let him know i'm okay with his hand being there "What do the girls like" I ask him "well they both love singing and dancing, and bluey. Wyatt loves anything Disney, mainly the princesses though. Ellie loves dinosaurs and Bennett is just a baby so she doesn't really like much" He says and I can practically hear the smile in his voice while he talks about them "they sound like fun" I say resting my head on his arm

"There very energetic" He says making me laugh "but hey at least I don't have to deal with them alone now" he adds making me smile again "never" I say resting my eyes for a second "take a nap tay, we have a little while" Travis says when he notices me fighting sleep "I'm not even tired i'm just really comfy" I say quietly making him giggle a little bit "whatever you say" he says kissing my head

"What's your favorite color" I ask randomly I see Travis think for a second before responding "Purple why" he asks "I just didn't know" I say shrugging "also I hate when you know every little think about a person and their life but not the most simple things like their favorite color or food" I add. Travis stays quiet for a second and I can practically hear him thinking "I've never thought about that before"

"what's yours" He asks while his hand is moving gently up and down my thigh "probably purple too, but I also really like yellow it's just so happy" I say making him smile. I grab my phone and connect it to the car "I have the best road trip playlist ever" I say and I see him perk up "oooo a free concert" He says making me laugh. We spend the next almost 4 hours singing and then talking in the quiet moments.

We finally pull into the driveway of my childhood home. Travis parks the car and I can see my mom waiting at the door "you ready" I ask him knowing that meeting the parents is a big deal even if it is only one of them. "i'm excited" he says giving me a kiss on the cheek and then getting out of the car and opening my door making me roll my eyes "what I have to be a gentleman in front of your mom" He says making me blush.

I walk past him and run to give my mom a hug, who gladly excepts it "hi honey" she says "hi mom" I mumble into the hug when I pull away from the hug I see Travis walking over pulling my suitcase behind him and with my backpack on his shoulder "I would have grabbed those" I say when he reaches us "It's okay I got them for you" He says making me smile

"Mom this is travis" I say and my mom pulls him into a hug "Nice to meet you" I hear travis say after she lets him go "you too" my mom says walking into the house both of us following her. Once we are all in the house Travis pauses and turns to face me "I'll bring you bags to your room then i'm going to head to Jason's for the night" He says and I nod

"okay, Mom i'm going to show trav to my room" I say tuning to walk up the stairs with travis behind me. I open the door to my old room flopping down on to the bed earning a laugh from Travis. I see him set my bags on the floor in the corner and then he sits down on the edge of the bed near me rubbing soothing circles on my back "I love the pink it's very you" He says teasing me about my hot pink room
