Who knows, it's been two weeks now. The two doesn't really talk much to each other, not that they have anything to talk about anyways. But they're both doing fine, at least they don't feel awkward around each other.

"Soonyoung ah, when are you going to introduce your wife to us?" Asked one of his coworkers, Seungcheol.

"Not yet." He laconically answered.

"You know our company annual dinner is just around the corner and you know that we could bring max two person each. Why don't you bring your wife along?" Seokmin suggested.

"I'll have to ask her."

"Just bring her, she could be friends with Seungcheol's wife, Minghao's girlfriend, Mingyu's fiancée, Jihoon-"

"Alrigh, alright, you'll gonna say all of their names. We get it, his wife could be friends with our spouses, partners and so on." Seungcheol nodded his head as he covered Seungkwan's mouth with his hand.

Soonyoung took a moment to think. Of course he'd like her to join but he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable and he didn't want her wanting to join out of force. Knowing how his friends would behave, he's sure that it's gonna make her uncomfortable.

"Should I just ask her?" He asked himself.

At the bus stop, Soonyoung saw Yugyeong entering the bus. A smile appeared on his face as he saw her walking towards the empty seat beside him.

"How's your classes today?" He asked.

"It was fine."

"That's good to hear."

They didn't say anything again. Their conversation are the same everyday, simple and short. Now Soonyoung is hesitating whether he should ask her about the annual dinner, or better not?

"Yugyeong."

"Hmm?"

"Our company will have annual dinner coming soon and each of us are allowed to bring maximum of two people. If you'd like to come along with me, but if you think that it's gonna make you uncomfortable, I won't force you." He finally asked and Yugyeong could tell how nervous he actually was to ask her.

"Sure."

That wasn't the answer that he actually expected.

"When?"

"Saturday next week."

"Any theme?"

"Not really, just formal."

Yugyeong nodded her head and turned her head away, looking at the outside view while Soonyoung is still staring at her, he quite didn't believe that she'll just easily agree with it.

"What do you want for dinner?" Yugyeong asked and immediately turned to look at him, where their face are just inches away. Soonyoung blinked his eyes and slowly moved his head away from her.

"Actually, I just got my salary today and I'm thinking of bringing you to a nice restaurant. Is there any food that you're craving for?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Not really."

Soonyoung had zero idea what her favorite foods are. Since they've been married for two weeks, they take turns cooking and Yugyeong literally eats whatever that he cooks for her, it's hard to tell what her favorite food is.

Soonyoung pressed the bell indicating that he'll get off at the next bus stop, that confused her.

"Let's go." He hold her wrist and brought her out of the bus.

Soonyoung brought her to a restaurant. She didn't have a good feeling about it, judging by how nice this restaurant looks, she knew for sure that it's gonna be expensive.

"Soonyoung, I think it's expensive here. Do you want to go to somewhere cheaper?" She asked.

"It's okay, it's only once in a month. We eat at home everyday so maybe today we'll eat here." He flashed her a warm smile.

Yugyeong didn't say anything but decided to agree. Checking the menu, she tried not to freak out. Well, it's not really that expensive but for a broke uni student like her, it is indeed very expensive. But she felt bad for Soonyoung, he just got his salary today and he's already spending it by bringing her to this 'expensive' restaurant.

So, she decided to order the least expensive food and drink for her. Once their foods arrived, the two started eating in silence. Really, they're not feeling awkward with each other but it's just that they don't really have a topic to talk about.

-

"See you later." Yugyeong was about to walk away when Soonyoung grabbed her arm, stopping her.

"What's wrong?"

"Do you need pocket money?" He asked.

"Huh? No." She frowned.

"I realized that we've been married for two weeks and I never even once give you a pocket money." He said as he feel guilty.

"It's okay, Soonyoung. Besides, I have my student allowance." She smiled.

"No, student allowance aren't that much. Please take this." He handed her a few notes.

"But this is too much-"

"Use it to buy what you need." He patted her head before he left to work.

Yugyeong didn't know what to do.

Yes, she does have student allowance and Soonyoung is right, it isn't that much, barely enough for her to survive. But she didn't want Soonyoung to be spending a lot of money for her. He's the one who paid for the groceries, he's the one who paid for their dinner, he's the one who paid for the monthly rental of the apartment and apparently he paid for everything.

The only thing she pays for is the bus ticket and her lunch in university, that's it.

And she didn't want Soonyoung to be spending more money on her.

"Soonyoung's company annual dinner is just in a few days. Do you have any idea on what should I wear? There's no specific theme, just formal." Yugyeong said to her closest friend, Lee Minjung.

Both of them have been friends since freshman years, not that Yugyeong don't have any other friends, she does but Minjung is the only one she's the most close with. And she is the only one who knows that she's married.

"You agreed to come along?" She tilted her head.

"Yeah because I feel bad. He've helped me a lot so why not since he asked for it, I agreed." She shrugged at the end of her sentence.

"Hmm. Not sure for something formal, wanna hangout later to look for something nice to wear?" She offered.

"Nice idea."

-

"Soonyoung." She called when Soonyoung finally picked up her call.

"What's wrong, Yugyeong?" He asked.

"I'll be going somewhere with Minjung, I'll probably be late. Please eat your dinner without me as I might eat with Minjung." She informed. He didn't say anything which made her worried.

"Soonyoung..?"

"Okay, take care of yourself. Don't walk alone at dark places." Yugyeong didn't know why, but his voice sounded so different. As if.. He actually isn't letting her hangout with her friend.

"All good?" Minjung put her hand on Yugyeong's shoulder.

"Yes, all good. Let's go!"

"You need to think of a color that you'd like to wear." Said Minjung.

"Soonyoung's probably gonna wear a black suit. So, anything that goes well with him will do." She nodded her head.

While Soonyoung who's already home heaved a sigh as he stared at the dining table, he've prepared dinner for him and his wife. He even asked for a permission from his boss that he wanted to leave work early just so he could prepare for dinner.

But guess he's gonna eat them all alone now.

"I even used the recipe that I asked from Mingyu." He murmured.
