Y'all were on the road with the engine purring down fast until y'all reached a old cabin. Sam and you salted the windows and doors
"how is he?" Sam asked as Dean came in
"He just needed a little rest, that's all, how are you? Both of you?" Dean asked sitting on the table
"I'll survive" Sam said
"I'm a big girl I can handle myself" you said smiling turning to Dean
"Hey, you don't think we were followed here, do you?" Sam asked
"I don't know. I don't think so I mean we couldn't have found a more out-of-the-way place to hold up" Dean said and you agreed
"Hey, uh... Dean, you, uh.. you saved my life back there" you said
"So I guess you're glad I brought the gun, huh? I mean, your dad is definitely gonna kill us after all this" Dean said with a chuckle
"Yeah, I'll tell him you saved me.. both of you. I've missed you boys. Thank you" you said with a small smile
"You're welcome" Dean said and Sam smiled back with a small nod Sam went to walk off but Dean spoke up
"Sam?" "Yeah?" Sam replied
"You know that guy I shot? There was a person in there." Dean said and you felt the guilt
"You didn't have a choice, Dean" Sam said and you walked over to Dean
"I know. That's not what bothers me." Dean said
"Then what does?" You asked
"Killing that guy, killing Meg. I didn't hesitate. I didn't even flinch. For you, El, or dad, the things I'm willing to do or kill, it's just uh... it scares me sometimes." Dean spoke and you just looked down at your hands
"It shouldn't. You did good" John said coming in the room
"You're not mad?" Dean asked
"For what?" John asked
"Using a bullet." Dean said
"Mad? I'm proud of you. You know, Sam and I, we can get pretty obsessed. But you well your like Ella you watch out for family. You always have" John said but it was shocking because this is not the John you remember
"Thanks" Dean said but then the lights started to flicker and rumbling was heard with loud winds. You stood next to Dean as Sam and John walked over to the window
"It found us. It's here." John said
"The demon?" Sam asked and you and Dean looked at each other in confusion
"Sam, lines of salt in the front of every window, every door, Ella you go with him" John said
"We did that" Y'all both said
"Check it, okay?" John said and y'all went to check it You and Sam came back to see Dean holding the gun to to John
"Dean? What the hell is going on?" Sam asked
"Your brother's lost his mind" John said
"He's not dad" Dean said
"What?" Sam asked
"I think he's possessed. I think he's been possessed since we rescued him." Dean went on saying
"Don't listen to him." John said
"Dean, how do you know for sure?" You asked
"He's different." Dean answered
"We don't have time for this. Sam, if you want to kill this demon, you've got to trust me."
