"Max!" A voice yelled at the top of their lungs. Max woke up and saw Ego standing there watching him. Max got up and looked around. They were on an island surrounded by water. And a huge building was in front of him. A skyscraper. "You alright? I saw Java and Pildue dragging you in here from the invisible bridge. We ran over to take them on but they dropped you on the invisible bridge and ran to the door and locked it. They threatened to disable the bridge if we didn't leave. We knew what they could do. So we all left but one. When we all got off, the kid fell into the water and we never saw him again. There was nothing we could do," Ego explained. Max fixed his eyes at the endless ocean and scowled.
"I wonder what this natural disaster will be," Max frowned. He looked up at the skyscraper laughing down at him. The skyscraper flew up to the clouds and its tip had a ladder that some people were climbing on. Max walked with Ego to the massive building and furrowed his brow. It looked familiar. Max walked toward the front desk. There were files neatly placed on the desk and the pens and pencils were in a glass mug beside the old computer. Max went behind the front desk and stared at it quizzically. Max knew he had seen it but where?

Ego watched him as he moved around the stuff on the desk to find clues.
"Max I don't know what is so mysterious about a front desk," Ego laughed as he started for the elevator. "But I'm going to explore the rest of this place." Max nodded and kept looking. Max looked at the papers and read them. He scanned the mug but nothing. He HAD seen this desk, but he didn't know when or why. Max shuffled slowly away from the desk and toward the elevator. He didn't understand what kind of nonsense was running through his brain, but he went into the elevator looking to get rid of it. The elevator went up and up. The music in the elevator was nice and quiet. He almost felt as if he wanted to fall asleep. The room was dim, perfect for sleeping. Max sat down with his back against the wall and fell asleep, forgetting about the certain doom that was about to solemnly strike.
BOOM! Max's eyes flipped open. The dim light flickered. Max stood up by pulling himself with the bar to hold onto in the elevator. The elevator stopped and so did Max's heart. BOOM! The light flickered again. Max heard distant screams fill the air. He clicked one of the buttons on the wall but none of them worked.
"I'm trapped!" Max screamed. His heart racing like the motor of a car. "Help!" Max listened for a faint response but nothing came. BOOM!
"Aaaaaahhhhhh!!" Max screeched as the wall of the elevator tore off by a big impact. The open wall showed the monstrosity outside. Teens running for their lives and a monstrous volcano the size of two skyscrapers! Max was fifteen stories high and was a sitting duck where he was. Max stayed away from the edge and tried to pry the doors open. Max put both his sweaty fingers inside the crack of the doors and pushed them open with much ease. He looked in the room and saw that it was perfectly intact with no one inside. He ran out of the elevator. He ran through doors for no reason at all. When he finally got tired he stopped and looked out the window. The volcano was huge! Max stuttered as he watched the volcano spew out tree sized boulders. Max let out a tear. He looked at the teens down on the grass fighting for their lives to get inside the building; but couldn't. He looked at the volcano again. The monstrous thing that was taking lives. He watched as a giant boulder flew right toward his face. Max finally realized it was coming when he wiped his tears.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!" Max screamed as he sprinted away from the room through the doors. BOOM! Max heard the large boulder come in contact with the building. Max knew he was not going to be safe up on the fifteenth floor. So he ran to the stairs. But when he opened the door, the stairs were destroyed. One of them was hanging on by a thread. Just as he closed the door another loud, BOOM! Shook the fifteenth floor. Max dove onto the ground and his head pounded the floor. A ringing noise rang in his head.
"Aaahhhhh," Max growled in pain. "My head is burning." Max layed on the floor.
"Hello?" A very soft high voice said. Max got up hastily. He looked around but saw no one.
"Hello?" Max said, waiting for an answer. But none came. "Hello!?" Max yelled this time, but no answer. BOOOM! A huge builder shook the building Max could barely stay on his feet. "Who's there?!" He scanned the room one last time. "I'm not going to hurt you!"
"You sure?" The soft voice asked. "No matter what?" Max started to get afraid of this creepy voice that he heard.
"No matter what! I promise! Just show yourself I can help you!" Max bellowed. Then he heard rustling under a desk. Max took a step back. Then he heard the soft voice start to sing a little tune. A tune he had recognized

"What are you doing?! Stop! STOP!" Max yelled.
"STOOOOOPPPPPP!!!"
