"Mother!?" Ian's surprised little voice was heard by both mother and son duo but didn't give any effort to react on it. Both of them are too invested in talking with eyes and Ian swear that his heart sank into his stomach seeing the way how Tae's eyes swallowed with tears.

The boy looks so unlive. I mean who will not after seeing the way his own mother describe his own father in such a nasty way. The old man is not that godly but why his mother try to put venom about him into his own son.

"Oh my god Taehyung! Do you really think that he stayed with you because of love? Don't make me laugh! Please!" She said in her own cunning tone already breaking into a fist of laugh in the middle. She really doesn't have that motherly aura around her.

"Taehyung! He doesn't care! He just wants you to be next royal healer or some sort of thing right!!? Just run away like me Taehyung! Let him suffer and save yourself!"

The lady didn't stop ranting eventhough Taehyung clearly said her to stop.

Ian just stayed behind as he has no idea what's going on and he also doesn't have any right to jump in between a son and a mother.

Taehyung took a heavy breathe up and clenched his fists not wanting to appear broken infront of his mother.

When he first saw his mother his heart literally jumped in joy only to beat loudly in shame afterwards.

He wanted to ask so many questions like is she coming home, what is she doing now, where is she staying now, did she miss him like he missed her but he had to swallow every word after hearing her emotionless insulting words.

Taehyung wonders whether he is the only one with a mother like her! Just why him!!?

"Then are you telling me that you care about me!?" Taehyung asked in a raspy numb voice startling the woman a bit.

"What?" Seeing her fake clueless face Taehyung let out a cocky smile washing away every warm imaginations he had about motherly love.

"If you have nothing to say I'll go!"

"Wow! He really made you like this huh!!? I can literally see the mini version of him in you!!"

"Yeah! Why not!? He is my father!"

"Taehyungie oh noo! Before I left,  you used to do painting right!? Let me guess! That man doesn't appreciate you for that right!?"

" It's none of your concern and mother, I was literally a baby at that time!"

"TAEHYUNG!" Suddenly the old woman screamed seeing the way how Taehyung took his father's side in a blink. Actually Taehyung is also quite surprised! He never thought that he will be the one to take his father's side!

His father and him has such a broken relationship but at least his father stayed!

"I'll never be a coward like you mother! And of course I'll proudly follow my father's footsteps rather than an irresponsible person like yours!" With that Taehyung walked past his mother with glossy eyes and wobbling lips he succeeded to hide from his mother.

He wanted to scream so badly that he wants to be him but will his parents ever listen to him rather than pulling him into either sides.

Taehyung can understand,,,he is not their kid! He is just an ornament they both are fighting for to show off after winning! Nothing else!

"Taehyung!" Ian ran behind Taehyung who is walking in such an incredible speed after passing a burning glare to that woman for hurting his boy! Why are they so envious about his own son's smile!?
