Chapter - 20

"Are you feeling good now?" Jungkook asked in such a calm voice making Taehyung to shake his head like a stubborn kid.

He still didn't let go of Jungkook's neck and therefore Jungkook is sitting in a very awkward position with his head slightly away from his body. His hands are itching to pull Taehyung onto his lap but his brain knows the limits well! This is not the time for that!

Sewon left the room as soon as Taehyung jumped onto Jungkook and by now Tae's loud cries converted into soft sniffings making Jungkook to ask the earlier question.

He simply can't see Taehyung like this!

"Here! Look at me now!" Prince again tried but Taehyung still shaked his head vigorously.

"Tae! Please!" Hearing the pleading voice Taehyung melted his stiff body a bit and let Jungkook get his face away from his neck.

If this is another time Jungkook will surely bite that red nose but he gotta help Taehyung first. Why the hell he looks this cute even when crying!!?

Jungkook darted a soft smile and wiped away the tears from other's damped cheeks not wanting to show his sadness after seeing Tae's usually sparkling eyes empty.

"We knew and conquered everything Tae! Why again!?"

"Th-they hit me aga-in on the same wo-und!" Taehyung answered with the raspy voice after too much crying. Not gonna lie, he is feeling somewhat light after he  wailed like a baby.

"They never learn right!!?"

"No! It's me who didn't learn!" Taehyung's answers are so sharp and numb which made Jungkook to gulp in hurt. Why his parents just can't leave him alone!?

"What do you mean Tae?"

"Both of them are constantly telling me to go! Go away from their lives! Mother already had enough and left me and father alone! On the other side father is also- he is also--"

"As you always say whenever I blame that old man, he stayed!"

" It's just a trap! Trap to make me like him and show off to mother!"

"I don't know Tae! But you should forget about your mother's words. She doesn't know a damn about you and also left you! Don't give her a space and hurt yourself!"

"B-but still---"

"I'm not telling you to forget about your parents' existence but don't judge yourself because of their words! Your mother is totally a lost case since she missed your life and your father is too much thick skinned to understand anything at all!"

"Hey! They're my parents!" Taehyung mumbled with a small smile emerged at corner of his lips. Seeing Jungkook's frown and the way how he is too much invested in blaming his parents made Taehyung to forget everything for a very little time.

"Even parents can't define you Tae! You are you!!"

"I know...but I wonder why am I even here if they didn't want me this much!"

"Tae! It's your overthinking! Noone told you that!"

"But I can see! Father always looks at me with hate!" Taehyung said sternly making Jungkook sigh at the end. He can't deny these too! Taehyung really has a hard time with his parents.

"Taehyung! I don't know about your mother but I think your father will change for good!"

"What!!? What are you saying!!?" Taehyung abruptly darted his tired wet eyes towards Jungkook forgetting all respectable ways he used to talk with royal member before. He is a mess now!
