She saw them from a distance,

She followed every move.

She tried figuring out the steps,

She wanted to get into the groove.

Her mind working out the counts,

Her legs moving to the sweet Symphony.

She tried to imitate them,

But failed miserably.

She watched them do pirouettes,

She watched them do some lifts.

She couldn't do any of them,

They were such graceful silhouettes.

In the faint distance,

She heard a familiar sound.

It was coming from a boombox,

That was somewhere around.

She followed the music,

Her arms and legs moving subconsciously.

Never did she know,

That people stopped and stared at her continuously.

She did not look all elegant and chic,

She was her regular self.

She did not know those big fancy dance words,

She just knew some dance steps.

She reached the place where the music was originating,

She danced her heart out to the beats and moves she was creating.
