Joong nervously adjusted his mask, not wanting to draw unnecessary attention to himself and Pond. One of the less pleasant aspects of being famous was that they could no longer go to an event without being recognized. Pond had acted so secretive, and so far he still hadn't told Joong who he was going to introduce to him at the convention.

Joong looked at his best friend, who was typing incessantly on his phone, almost as if his life depended on it. "Nara ... is your phone so much more interesting than all this? Did you buy the VIP tickets just so you could stare at the screen during the whole event?" He rolled his eyes as his best friend suddenly grabbed him by the upper arm.

"This way, we have to go this way." Pond pulled Joong around a corner behind him, looked at his phone, and glanced around. He mumbled some unintelligible things to himself and looked at his phone again. "It should be here somewhere... ah, there." Pond pulled Joong along with him again.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Joong complained as he stumbled after Pond.

"Let me surprise you." Pond stopped in front of a door. A note had been hung there, "Artist Area - No Trespassing." Joong shook his head in shock.

"Oh no. Are you completely stupid? We are NOT doing this!" He tore himself away from Pond. "It says no trespassing, can't you read?" A grin formed on Pond's lips.

"Come on now, we can't stand outside the door forever." He took his friend by the hand, not without Joong complaining in the loudest, whisper he could possibly produce, then opened the door, pulling Joong behind him.

"Phuwin... will you finally tell me the surprise instead of staring at your phone the whole time?" Dunk sat down on the couch next to his friend and crossed his arms.

"You'll have to be patient for a little while longer, can you manage?" Phuwin asked without taking his eyes off the screen of his phone. Dunk rolled his eyes.

"What could be so important that you can't even put your phone down?" Dunk leaned against the sofa and closed his eyes. The convention had barely started, and it had already been pretty stressful for her. The opening ceremony, first autograph session, a brief appearance, and now they had an hour before they had to judge a cosplay competition.

"Dunk, don't fall asleep." Dunk felt Phuwin's hand on his arm, he stretched and yawned.

"What's the matter? Is it time for the surprise?" Dunk looked sleepily at his friend, who was sitting next to him, grinning broadly. Phuwin raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe." Dunk hated how secretive Phuwin was being.

"Just say it," he complained. "I really don't have any..." At that moment, the door to the room they were in opened, and Dunk's heart seemed to skip a beat as he recognized the two young men who stumbled in.

For Joong and Dunk, it felt as if seconds and hours were passing at the same time, during which they simply stared at each other. Much to the amusement of their two friends, who were now standing next to each other with their arms crossed in front of their chests, alternately looking at Joong or Dunk.

"Do you think they'll wake up from their stupor at some point?" Phuwin asked, leaning slightly towards Pond.

"I don't know, but I find it quite amusing," he replied.

"Do you want a drink? We've got everything here. Finally, I can show you my backstage area," Phuwin laughed, taking Pond's hand and pulling him with him to the buffet.

Dunk was the first of the two to move, moving his hand to his arm to pinch himself. "Ouch." He cursed and held his arm. The exclamation brought Joong out of his stupor.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly and took a step towards Dunk. He nodded and rubbed the sore spot.

"I just wanted to know if I was dreaming," Dunk mumbled, somewhat ashamed. Joong nodded sympathetically and ran a hand through his hair.

"I can understand what you're feeling," he confirmed. "That's crazy." He settled down on the couch next to Dunk. "Just crazy." Dunk nodded in agreement before a thought crossed his mind.

"Wait, how do Phuwin and Pond know each other?" He spoke the thought out loud, it was easier to worry about his best friend than to face the reality that he was talking to THE Joong. It was also a welcome shift for Joong.

"I honestly have no idea," they both turned to their friends, who were standing arm in arm at the buffet, filling a plate with food together. "Do you think these two...?"

"...are a couple?" Dunk finished Joong's sentence. Joong nodded. "Whatever they are, they owe us an explanation."
