11: A Gift

"aise insan ko Kya diya jae, jis k pass to sub Kuch ho."

She wanted to give something to Anubhav but he already had almost everything. Even if she purchase something for him, it will be from his own money as few days after their marriage, Anubhav had opened her bank account and he regularly sent her amount.

So what should she buy? What should she give him?

She wanted to give him something special with the surprise she was going to give him. Though it was not any big surprise but enough to bring a very genuine smile on his face. Although he smiled almost all the time but when it comes to sincerity, she felt like his real smile was hidden deep inside of him.

So she wanted to bring that smile on his face, more than often.

It took her a whole day to decide what to give him and when she got the idea, she can't wait for the next morning.

Next morning, she asked maa that she wanted to go to her meka. In this two months of their marriage, she just went to her home two times only and only for a few hours.

But now as Anubhav was not there, she wanted to spend a night there as well. Besides what she wanted to take from her home, it will take some time for her to search for that thing.
Most importantly she wanted to spend some time with her mother, it had been so long she had spent some time with her. (My heart pang while writing it)..

Maa was a little reluctant but then she looked at her daughter in law. "Pahle Anubhav se puch lo, agar woh kahta hai k chali jana, to chali jana."

Haseena smiled widely listening to his name. Maa and Raveena both noticed this. "Koi masla nahi hai, hum abhi puch laite hai.inho ne kon sa mana Karna hai."

With that she called him and picked up the call on second bell. She had put the phone on speaker.

"Hello..." Anubhav's voice was a little sleepy.
Haseena (worried): "Kya hua Anubhav? Ap soe hue the? Hum ne disturb to nahi Kiya."

She could hear Anubhav's smile from the phone: "ap humain disturb kar sakti hai Kya?"

Haseena: "tabiyat thek hai naa apki, is waqt to dophara ho Rahi Hogi to ap so rahe hai?"

Anubhav: "oh humari patni, hum bikul thek hai. Bus meeting jaldi khatam ho gai to thak kar aankh lag gai. Koi Kam to hai nahi humain. Ap batae is waqt ku phone Kiya hai?"

Maa and Raveena sitting beside her was pretended they were engrossed in their phone but their ears were in Haseena's call.

Haseena: "haan yad aaya. Woh hum Zara aj Ami ki taraf Chali jae?"

Anubhav: "Chali jaiye, is main puchne ki Kya zarurat hai?"

Haseena: "rat bhi ruk jae Kya? Ap konsa yahan par hai?"

Anubhav: "thek hai ruk jaiye. Balke hum to kah rahe hai k humare aane tak wohi ruk jaiye."

Haseena was quite happy to listen to it but when she saw maa glaring her, she immediately made an excuse. "Nahi bus ek rat ki Kaafi hai, kal rat tak hum aa jae ge, thek hai naa?'

Anubhav: "Jaisa apko thek Lage. Jate hue Ami ya Cheetah k Liye Kuch le kar jaiye ga, shadi k bad pahli bar itni dair k Liye ja Rahi hai."

Haseena: "thek hai le lain ge."

She was about to hang up the call, when Anubhav whispered "hum apko bohat yad kar rahe hai." The phone was on speaker and she immediately clicked the button to put off the speaker and blushed furiously and whispered back: "hum bhi..." Her smile brighten her face and this brightness was not liked by many. "Acha chalain hum chalte hai phir rat ko Apne time par bat karain ge. Allah Hafiz."
