"The City of Orario has everything"

That's what my grandpa told me when I was young

Back then, all I could do was imagine the city based on the story of the epics that my grandpa always told me.

Now he's gone and I'm traveling to the city of Orario to begin my story as a Hero.

"Hey kid you can see it now" says the driver of the cart

I was awakened from my dream from the sound of cart driver. I was sleeping in a fetal position surrounded by supplies that are going into Orario.

I quickly poke my head out to see the view of the city.

...

The sight of the city left me dumbfounded as the stunning view of the city was bigger than I imagined.

"This is Amazing" I said to the cart driver

"Hahahahaha that's what everyone says when they first come to Orario" the cart driver laughs in amusement looking at what expression.

The labyrinth city of Orario

The center of the world where one can find riches, fame and fated encounters.

When I look up, I'm greeted by the visible towers from Orario

I was completely loss for words on how big and high those towers are

It still gives me goosebumps on how this is the city that the stages are set for my beloved stories of the epics and heroes.

"I'll be alright from here and thank you for everything, mister!" I said to the cart driver.

I leaped out from the cart taking a few belongings that I brought from my village.

"Hey! It's still quite the long way until you reach the city kid" says the cart driver

"It's alright! I'll run from here and I'm grateful for everything!" I said to the cart driver

I quickly ready myself and ran through a small hill before reaching the city with excitement on my face

"The cart driver was right" I thought it my head while starting to slow down

It took quite a while to reach the walls of the city.

Now I'm exhausted and gasping for air and sweaty but I reached the gate.

The Walls of the city was gigantic from afar now It's even larger

It even hurts my neck too see the top of the wall from where I'm standing.

I finally snaped out of my daydreaming and went to join the end of the line full of merchants and travelers waiting to be let into the city.

"Next!" my turn finally comes when I'm distracted trying to look into the city. I nervously and awkwardly approached the two guards.

"Have your entry permit?"

Sweat started to form in my body as I nervously said "D-Do I need something like that?" not aware that going into the city needs documents.

Looking at both of the guards my legs started to shake from nervousness

One of the guards which had the appearance of a beast person started to laugh and said, "you're probably not a merchant... you came because you want to become an adventurer right?"

"Y-yes, sir!" I yelp

"Then you're fine, there's hundreds or maybe a thousand people coming to Orario to become aspiring adventurers and there's no way and enough time to question all of them one by one." says the beast kin guard

"Turn around and let me check your back." says the guard

He holds out a lamp looking thing and scan my back

"W-what is that? W-what are you doing?" I stuttered while talking to the guard

"Checking if you have a falna in your back, it's a way to catch spies from other countries." says the beastkin guard

"It makes no sense for a country bumpkin like me." I thought while not understand what anything the beastkin guard had told him

I started being fidgety from nervousness being scan for a long time by the guard as I start to be worried the other guard speaks up saying "There's another one here."

I looked closely and saw an emblem from the guard's shoulder, it's an emblem that resemble an elephant head. It's an emblem that represents his patron god faction... his familia.

The adventurer came up and talked to me. He asked me "why do you want to become an adventurer?" followed up with " is it because of fame, wealth or maybe women?"

I was shocked by being approached by an adventurer and I reply with" I-I came here to become a hero from the tales of epics" I embarrassingly utter those words.

I start to feel my cheeks burning up and I turned red as a tomato

They started to laugh and try to not break character because they're on duty

The test seems to be over when the guard had stop scanning my back and put away the magic item.

"The first thing you need to do is go to the adventurer's guild and register to become an adventurer and to become an adventurer you need to have a falna in other words, you need to join a deity's familia to register as an adventurer." says the beast kin guard

The city gates started to open...

"Thank you very much!" I said while giving the guards a polite bow before walking through the city gate going into the city.

My chest started to pump extremely fast because of the excitement of a new horizon.
