"Where's Sejin hyung?" Namjoon asked as his members and he entered their floor of the BigHit building.
"You don't know?" One employee asked with a gasp.
"We don't know what?" Namjoon questioned.
"Pd-nim fired Sejin-ssi last night, I think it was after you all left though." The employee replied.
The seven boys' eyes widened.
"He what?!" All of them exclaimed in disbelief, the employee nodded. They thanked the employee quickly and then rushed through the hallways to the CEO's officer -which was on the same floor. It didn't make sense in their mind, Sejin was the best manager they'd ever known, he'd been their main manager since the beginning, he'd seen and been with them through their highs and lows, firing him seemed like the dumbest decision anyone could make.
They entered the CEO's office, rushed past the front desk and went straight to his cabin.
"PD-nim!" They called out together, bursting into the cabin, there was an unfamiliar man sitting in the office with the CEO, but the boys barely acknowledged him.
"Ah, I was only about to send for you, boys." Sihyuk spoke with a smile, gesturing for them to come in.
"Sir, I think there has been a mishap..." Namjoon began.
"Mishap...? What are you talking about?" Sihyuk questioned.
"Sir, It's about Sejin hyung..." Namjoon spoke.
"Ah right, I had known you'd ask, don't stress about it, boys, meet Muk Hae-il-ssi, your new manager." Sihyuk said, gesturing to the man sitting in the room. The man, Hae-il, gave them an all too excited and gleeful smile.
The seven members were taken aback by the fast-paced revelations but gave Hae-il strained smiles as to not appear rude. Taehyung -who's intuition about people's personalities was never wrong- looked at the man skeptically, his mind immediately determining the man as a big red flag.
"Nice to meet you all." Hae-il chirped, holding out his hand for a handshake, Namjoon hesitantly accepted the handshake and he instantly winced, the man's grip was too strong, and there were two flashes in the man's eyes, one of utter excitement, and one was dark, something he couldn't pin-point.
"Now, Hae-il-ssi, you may go to the front desk of my office and from there, an employee will come to give you a tour of the building." Sihyuk informed. Hae-il nodded and left the room.
"Sir...we don't understand...what was the need to fire Sejin hyung all of a sudden?" It was Yoongi who spoke this time.
"I did what will benefit the company, just continue your work and don't stress over issues of the company, I can handle them, its my company after all, what I do and why I do it is my business, not yours." Sihyuk responded.
But still, Sejin hyung has been our manager for so long, shouldn't we be at least warned? And there was no reason to fire him, he didn't do anything wrong." Jin spoke.
"Stop whining, boys, whining doesn't print the money, your job does. You focus on your jobs and be nice to your new manager, got it?" Sihyuk ordered, his tone leaving no room to argue. The boys bowed their heads and left.

"Boys~!" An awfully overjoyed voice called out, Hoseok paused the music and eyed the studio's door warily, wondering who was there.
"Who is it?" Jimin whispered after seeing the alertness in the dance leader's eyes.
A few seconds later, the studio's door swung open, and Hae-il walked in.
The boys were confused by the unannounced visit but bowed to greet him anyway.
"I'm just here to let you know that I've organized a meeting for us in about an hour, I expect that you will be punctual, that's all, good day." He informed in a monotone before waltzing out of the studio.
The boys were confused and weirded out by the interaction but didn't pay much heed to it and resumed their practice.

"Ah yes, here they are, the bulletproof boyscouts." Hae-il spoke as the seven walked in and sat down on their seats.
"As you all already know, I am Bangtan's new main manager, now, I'd like to introduce a few new people and fire some old people." Hae-il announced, the seven boys' eyes widened, it's this man's first day at work and he's already firing people?
"So, first of all, the list of those who have been fired, the main bodyguards, the RUN BTS department and some of the sub-managers." Hae-il declared.
"What?!" Jungkook exclaimed, unable to keep his shock suppressed.
Hae-il ignored him and continued his speech, "And now, I'd like to introduce all those who have been hired in place of them..." Hae-il spoke, the man spent the next few minutes introducing the new employees, and the entire time, the seven boys grew more and more skeptical of their new manager.

By the end of the day, the boys were utterly exhausted, they were stumbling through the building, wanting nothing more than to just get to their car, drive back home and sleep. Suddenly, Yoongi bumped into someone.
"Oh hello, boys! I was just looking for you!" Hae-il exclaimed with a smile, "Oh dears, you must be terribly tired!" He commented, gazing at their disheveled forms -due to the intense dance practice- "A few bodyguards and I will drop you off, alright?" Hae-il informed, patting Yoongi's back and then leading them to the building's exit. The boys were too worn out to argue and just followed the man out.
They entered their car and tried their very best not to fall asleep in the car. Eventually, the car stopped and Hae-il turned around to look at the boys, a weird glint in his eyes.
The boys wordlessly exited the car and bowed to thank their manager and then left to head back to their dorm.

The next morning when he woke up, Namjoon had this weird feeling that someone was watching him, chalking it up to paranoia he just shrugged it off.
"Hurry up, we have to leave in five minutes!" Hoseok urged, clapping his hands once.
"I'm not having breakfast, I'll just grab a protein bar for later." Jimin announced, reaching out to grab a protein bar but accidentally knocking a cup off the counter, luckily, it was made of plastic so it did not break, shrugging off the event as it wasn't that out of the blue, he quickly picked up the cup and left it on the counter, after which he ran out of their dorm, locking it -as he was the last one to exit- and then got into their car.

The seven boys began with their schedules as per usual, nothing out of the ordinary until...
It was time to record a song, Hae-il walked into the recording studio to 'supervise'.
The vocal line were sitting outside of the recording both, listening to the rap line finish off their parts.
Jimin was drinking water when suddenly, Hae-il chuckled next to him and spoke, "Be careful, we don't want a repeat of the morning incident."
