"Rule no.1," Hae-il began, "Never tell anyone about this, got it? Don't you even dare to think about telling anyone," He paused, "Why? You may ask, well, because of a lot of reasons, number 1," Hae-il paused again as one of the staff handed him a paper, "Read the contract you signed, again, dears." He urged.

The seven of them, badly shaken up and hurt, reached out with shaking hands, they took it and began reading the papers, eyes widening as they slowly realised that there had been a few points, written in a very small font, barely visible, disguised as innocent statements that could be interpreted in an entirely different way.

"Say, is there something along the lines of, 'Hereby, I consent to every activity suggested by my company and management, no matter the consequence and I shall not get the company involved in legal battles'." Hae-il smirked.

"And also, 'If any statement is made by me to the authorities or public that damages the company's reputation, I shall be prepared to suffer the consequences such as lawsuits of defamation and a temporary termination.' Oh and, if you pay attention to the back of the contract, you've signed a NOC and a NDA." Hae-il narrated.

"And, and, look very closely at the bottom of the page, right above your sign, it says something like, 'I do accept the fact that I have mental disorders like Delusional Disorder which may cause psychosis. And thus, any statement made by me to the authorities or the law should not be taken seriously as those statements may have been made in a state of psychosis." Hae-il ended, a proud smirk on his face.

The boys looked at him in shock and then stared at the contract in their hands, anger bubbling up inside of them as they thought about how they'd essentially thrown their lives away all because they didn't think those words could have a different meaning and because they did not read the fine print.

Jimin growled, hands gripping the paper tightly as he tried to tear the contract.

"Oh, no, no~ dear." Hae-il spoke as he noticed the third youngest, taking the contracts from their hands and giving them to someone else.

"Now, Reason 2 of why you mustn't tell anyone, not even your family and friends is because if you do, I'll make sure both yours and your loved ones' careers are destroyed and you all turn into the most hated people in all of Korea." Hae-il threatened.

"Reason 3, I can kill off or hurt your loved ones as quick as this," Hae-il snapped his fingers to demonstrate.

"So, now, it's up to you, either you tell the authorities or your fans and make yourselves look like crazed, psychotic idiots or you could tell anyone and get all of yours and your loved ones' careers destroyed and roam the streets of Korea as the most hated people in the country, or you could tell someone and watch as everyone you've ever loved drops dead one by one. Or, you could keep your mouths shut and play my game. The choice is yours." Hae-il smirked, "Got it?" He asked.

The boys gave small, scared nods.

"Great, now, as for Rule no.2, always listen to your staff and management, never disobey them and never disobey me, you do either of that and your loved ones' will suffer." Hae-il said.

"Rule no.3, always remember, we are the game masters and you are the pawns. We are the puppeteers, you are the puppets, never do anything without our permission." Hae-il ended.

"W-why?" Namjoon asked through the gag.

"Why am I doing this, is that what you're asking?" Hae-il questioned.

Namjoon gave a nod.

"Because," Hae-il leaned into Namjoon's face, getting too close for comfort, "This is my version of chess, and in this version, I like to take the pawns and crush them with my bare hands, break and crush them in every way possible until the only thing left is sawdust." Hae-il whispered.

"And you, my dears," Hae-il began with a creepy grin, "Are my pawns this time, and I don't plan on leaving you all anytime soon, not until you all are nothing but dust, and guess what?" He grinned even more, "You all won't do anything about it, I've gotten you right under my control, tied to the strings like helpless puppets, you all are too scared to say anything, and you'll continue to be in my clutches." Hae-il spoke darkly, "Checkmate." He said in a low-voice.

Then, he backed up, a crooked smile on his face as he clapped once, "Now, I believe it's time for you all to go home~" He sing-songed.

Hae-il turned to one of the staff, "Undo the restraints, we'll drop them off at their dorm." He ordered.

The seven boys' restraints were undone and they stood up on shaky legs, somehow managing to stumble to the SUV and getting in.

After the SUV pulled up to their dorm, they were about to get out of the car when Hae-il suddenly spoke up,

"Remember, I'm always watching, I'm always listening, be careful whatever you do."

A/N:

it's my dark side's time to shine today! Just Hae-il getting control over the boys using fear~! :D
