Why is everyone gloomy!?
Pete wondered when he reached the breakfast table this morning.
Unlike the other mornings chay asked him to joinfor breakfast because the entire family is eating together.
Pete refused to disturb the family but chay looked a little gloomy saying please he had to say yes.
The eldest sat at the head of the table with the leaders on either side followed by everyone.
Pete sat beside Chay. He was silent like the entire table was. It's the first time he saw everyone together and kept wondering how similar their faces look when they are gloomy. He finished his breakfast and waited for everyone to be done.
Chay followed him to his room.
"Chay....why are you all gloomy today!??" Pete asked.
"Few years ago...this day......uncle Korn and uncle Kan....!!" Pete understood what Chay meant.
"How!??" He asked feeling sad.
Chays face turned to an expression Pete can't put his finger on.
"Its ok...you don't...!"
"They killed each other!"Chay said it.
"What!??" Pete was beyond shocked.
Chay nodded.
"But you said they are brothers!!"
Chay sat on the bed sighing.
"The family history is not really pretty. The two families lived together but hated each other for a long time. Few years ago a war broke where the father's killed eachother. But luckily the sons decided to put an end to the rivalry. Which is why they live together."
Woah........ It's so sad and intense and scary.....Poor people must have been feeling so sad.
"Chay......will they be OK!??"
Chay chuckled and replied.
"They will be. They hated their father's all their life. Except p'kinn. Being a leader he always followed his father's foot steps. But when they killed each other they didn'tcry. They never cried. But they are sad. We know that. But don't worry phi...they will be fine.As sad as it sounds.... they were only happier when they got rid of their father's!!"
Pete was actually confused about this family. Maybe the less I know the better.
"You take care phi. I don't think Mac will have any interest in the tutoring lessons today. So you take the day off!!" Chay said.
Pete nodded.
Chay gave a small smile and left the room.
Brothers killing each other!??
Mafia is scary.
Run fast pete. The faster you get out of here the better.
As chay informed Macau had no interest in the tutoring lessons. So he didn't send anybody to call pete.
