Short Intro Chapter - Takes place at the end of MIZU 5

Ena gazed at the direction Mizuki had run in. The frantic footsteps echoed in her mind. The look on her face. Her skin an unnatural pale and the bags under her eyes from sleepless nights. The pure terror on her face as if she had watched her whole world end. Her eyes were a tunnel that let me see straight into her heart. For a fraction of a second, I could see it: her pain, her anxiety, her fears for one moment, and like that she disappeared. She dragged along the unbearable weight she carried in her heart and her weakness. She took them and ran. With tears sliding down her face, she ran, and I watched. All I did was watch.

I felt my legs start to go out from beneath me. I quickly crumble onto the floor landing on my knees. The sound of me dropping barely registered in my own ears. I tried to see Mizuki's face in my mind once more but it didn't appear. All I could see was her back as she ran away. She was gone and I. Faint sobs started to escape from my mouth and a river of tears began to flow from my eyes.
