Rose Granger - Weasley stood on the platform, looking through the dust nervously, "Mum where are they?" Her brother Hugo whined "They were supposed to be here" Hermione replied, looking around nervously, and then in the distance she saw an excited Albus, a taunting James, and a sad Lilly.
"Al!" she yelled and ran towards him "Rose!" Albus said and they met each other and hugged "If you two weren't related I would ship you" James smirked, sneaking behind Albus, "Lil!" Hugo said and the two started doing their signature handshake, she and Hugo were both excited to be reunited with their cousins.
"Hey mate" Ron said to Harry "Long time no see" Harry said and the two did a warm embrace "Gin!" Hermione called to the smiling Ginny "Hi! How's my favourite sister in law?" Ginny asked "Not bad" Hermione said and they too embraced.
After a lot of goodbyes and promises to write she and Albus stepped onto the train, "Let's try and get an empty compartment" Albus said and the two eventually found one after many searching.
...Scorpius...
Scorpius had been rejected from all the carriages, nobody wanted to sit with a death eaters' son.
He entered the last full carriage, his hope dangling like a leaf in the wind, he knocked and entered "Hi... Can I sit here?" he asked "Yeah sure" the boy replied, he sighed in relief and sat next to the boy.
He looked across at the girl, she was buried in a book, she looked... wow.
... Albus...
After a while, Rose started biting her lip, something she did when she was nervous, and took out Hogwarts a history, losing herself in it.
He sat there, bored, but he knew better to talk to Rose when she was anxious so he just sat there until a kid with platinum blonde hair, and grey blue eyes stepped into the compartment.
"Hi...Can I sit here?" He asked "Yeah, sure" he replied, the boy sighed in relief and stepped inside taking a seat next to him, Rose still hadn't noticed he had come in, buried in her book "I'm Albus" he said, knowing his cousin wouldn't look up.
"Thanks, I'm Scorpius" Scorpius said then James came in "Oh hey Al" James said, then he saw Rose deep in reading and put a finger to his mouth.
"Shush" He whispered, and creeped up to her "BOO!" He yelled when he was close enough, Rose dropped her book and James laughed, he chuckled at the sight of it Scorpius smiled awkwardly.
"James! Not funny!" She yelled at him, her best death stare upon her face "And you made me drop my new textbook as well!" she said, clearly infuriated now "Well, have a good first day, I'll see you two at the Gryffindor table" James said and left in a hurry.
Rose looked up and saw there was someone else sitting next to him, her cheeks turned a bright shade of pink "And you are?" She asked "Scorpius" Scorpius replied "I'm Rose, Rose Granger Weasley" Rose relied and Scorpius's mouth dropped a little in awe.
"Not that it's important but what's your surname?" he asked, breaking the tension, Scorpius hesitated, should he tell them? But he chose to tell them "Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy" He mumbled.
...Rose...
Rose almost dropped her book when someone else knocked, clearly wanting to ask if she could sit there, she looked up, it was her childhood best friend Ava!
