Spencer says to Derek who looks incredibly uninterested, Emily looks at the two in amusement before looking at Callie who is trying but failing to keep her eyes open.
"No, Lucas said it took 19 years to build the first Death Star, right? But if you look at The New Essential Chronology, there's a test bed prototype for a super laser that's been.. where are you going" Spencer asks looking as Derek gets up shakes Callie awake and starts walking
"Taking back the last five minutes of my life." Derek says simply causing Callie to huff a small laughter and pat Spencer on the back before getting up and following him.
"You can't go in there." Spencer says as Derek is about to go into Rossi's office
"Don't you want to know about this guy?" Derek asks generally
"I do."
"We can find out by asking Rossi himself, not just snooping" Callie points out crossing her arms and looking at the two agents.
"I've got it all memorised his books, his bio." Spencer says following Derek and with hesitance Callie decides to be led astray by Derek Morgan.
"Yeah, books that sold over a million copies." Derek states
"So?"
"That's a million reasons. Not to come back, if you know what I'm saying." Derek says as the agents walk in to see it partially empty
"Huh! Taupe walls. That's a negative colour. Cold. Distant. You know, emotionally, taupe is linked to loneliness and a desire to escape from the world." Emily says
"Does no profiling each other escape you or?" Callie deadpans and Emily lightly nudges her making her roll her eyes.
"I just figured the guy's walls would be covered with plaque and commendations." Derek says
"Maybe he doesn't want to be reminded of past victories it's a new chapter for him" Emily says
"Or maybe he hasn't bothered to decorate because his office is practically naked and the painters probably left that as a base coat?" Callie says as she gets a look from Emily and Derek with a 'no way' expression.
"Forget it" Callie sighs rubbing her temples
"Whatever happened to the moratorium on intra-team profiling guys?" Spencer says coming off of his leaned stance against the door frame.
"Exactly what I said, kid genius" Callie points out with crossed arms over her dark lilac purple long sleeve shirt
"Come on, Reid. Team? I don't think this guy knows the meaning of the word." Derek says picking up a frame
