The troubles of a scientist

*Yvette POV*

The time has come. We've finally been able to receive all the information about Project Blue.
"Ma'am, are you ready? We've finally been able to comprehend the code."
I blinked as I looked at my assistant.
"Of course. Show me."
My assistant then showed me the codes, and I took over, and I copied and pasted the code and edited it a little bit to make my own code but to keep it similar.
"Heheh... Dr. Sheridan, you sly dog." I snickered.
I then started to test Meta Artificial Rapid Cyber Intelligence. At first, I wanted to make sure the program could understand and gear me. It didn't work the first five times until my eldest son activated her.
"Hello. I'm Meta Artificial Rapid Cyber Intelligence, or Marci for short. It's nice to meet you." I hugged my son in excitement and immediately started running some tests and logs.

"Day one. My son was able to activate Marci, and we've started testing. But something isn't working. She can't enter the games, and she's been acting strange. Updates will follow up."

(The next day)

"Day two. Marci is still having issues, but that's why it's called a trial and error for a reason. I continued testing, and the strange behavior still hasn't been normal. Following up next log."

(The next month)

"Day thirty-two. Marci is becoming more human each day. She asks me weird questions about my life, about my family, and what I do. She says she wants to make as many memories as possible. But I think the reason why she's acting like this is because of the code that Sheridan made, I did copy and paste it, but I did edit it a little, but apparently, my code didn't work out so I left it. It feels nice sometimes. She gets to know about me, and I even ask her questions sometimes. But the one problem is that she still can not enter online games. Offline games are ok, but who wants to watch that? More testing is underway. Wish me luck."

It took me roughly about a year. But Meta Artificial Rapid Cyber Intelligence is complete. She can finally enter an online game without getting hurt. In the year, I've actually become fond of Marci. It's like... We've become family. In the same year , I met another scientist who has a baby girl. Her husband left her since she got pregnant and she's been living by herself. I've also had another baby, a son. Ms. Sapphyria Winters and I have become best friends. But her twin sister... She's odd. It's like there's something within her that wants to murder all of us. But that's just me...
