As Audrey's evil laughter faded into the echoes of the room, Elisa felt a strange emptiness wash over her. Breathing heavily, she turned away from the mirror, desperate to regroup and find her friends. When she stepped back into the cottage, the warmth of familiarity surrounded her. She forced a smile as she stood by Ben's side, her heart fluttering when he smiled at her and intertwined his hand with hers before he leaned down to kiss the back of her head.

She then walked with him as they followed their friends out to go back to the castle. Ben made a comment of how he would love to hear the story of how Elisa and their friends teamed up with Uma and her pirate crew. Uma admitted that Elisa agreed that every kid from the Isle would be allowed in Auradon. And that's when Elisa broke. She couldn't keep this secret in anymore.

"I have a confession to make." Elisa mutters, reluctantly pulling away from Ben and moving to stand in front of the group when they all stop walking. "I...Um, the barrier is going to be shut down officially...I'm so sorry I lied to you guys...I-I already told Evie and Mal, don't be mad at them for not telling, I asked them, so please don't get upset at them." Elisa's gaze lowered, shame and guilt eating away at her. She didn't want to see the disappointed and upset expressions on their faces. She should have told them sooner. She shouldn't have acted like she was going to go along with it. But at the moment, it had been the only way to save the ember.

"You lied to us?" Henry asked quietly, his expression a mix of confusion and hurt. Sure, Elisa had lie to him before, a lot of people has, but it was never something like this.

"Yes, but there was a good reason," Elisa replies, her eyes pleading for them to understand. "I-I'm going to be the future queen of Auradon, and I knew I needed to keep Ben's and soon to be my people safe. But the kids from the Isle need our help. They are innocent children and shouldn't have to live in poverty or be treated badly. It's not fair and it's wrong. But if the barrier comes down, then the villains will be able to escape, and we can't let that happen-"

"I can't believe you lied to us." Jay muttered, his expression filled with hurt and anger.

"Jay, she did it for a good reason." Mal tried to defend her friend.

"You and Evie lied to us too." Carlos frowned.

Evie sighs, tears forming in her eyes as she looks at her friends. "We're sorry. We didn't want to, but we had to."

"How could you?" Krystal stares at her cousin, Elisa, with disbelief. "Cous, you never lied to us. But this...This is the biggest lie."

Elisa sniffles, feeling terrible. "Krys, please try and understand. I did this for us."

"For Auradon's safety." Ben chimed in, squeezing her hand to comfort her.

"Hold up, so we're saving your precious people and your behinds for a lie? I knew it was a mistake to trust you." Uma says to Elisa, walking up to her with hurt and betrayal. "Y'know, I thought maybe we could actually be friends, but now I see how foolish that was. You're just like all the others. You were using me and my crew to save your own skin, not caring about us."
