you can skip this part of you want but I just wanted to provide a character sketch about the characters :3

Again, Yuji's character DOES NOT BELONG TO ME but Gege Akutami who's the author of the manga, Jujutsu Kaisen. I'm just writing this fanfiction about him since there isn't much fanfiction about him. Like I've mentioned before, here the characters are aged up. If it does not sit right with you, you may stop reading this fic but do not spread hate. In this fic, Yuji's age is 24 and Yushi's age is 21, serving a reasonable 3 years age gap.

Yuji Itadori

Yuji is naturally warm-hearted, empathetic, and filled with an inherent desire to protect those around him. While he's faced numerous challenges—some life-threatening—he's maintained an optimistic outlook and his characteristic kindness. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to express what he’s feeling. Despite the weight of the battles he fights in his life, he remains emotionally open, caring, and dedicated to helping others. He possesses a lighthearted charm, using humor to deflect tension or pain, but beneath this is a depth of emotional complexity.

Yuji’s greatest strength lies in his selflessness and his loyalty. He is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good and will go to great lengths to protect the people he cares about. His courage is unshakable, and though he experiences fear, he never lets it consume him. He’s physically strong and able to think quickly in dangerous situations, using both his power and intelligence to find solutions.

Yuji's tendency to take responsibility for others' well-being can become a burden. He often puts others before himself to a fault, neglecting his own needs. His desire to save everyone sometimes leads him into risky situations, driven by guilt when he can't succeed. Though outwardly cheerful, he carries the emotional toll of his experiences internally, leading to moments of deep introspection and conflict.

Yuji struggles with his place in the world, especially given the circumstances that brought him to Yushi’s universe. He is deeply conflicted between his desire to return home and the growing connection he feels toward Yushi, wondering if his feelings for her are something he should pursue or suppress.

Yushi Azrael

L

ike I've said before, Yushi is a nickname that I was given by someone special. It's basically a derived from of my real name but I never knew it was an actual name though??? The name 'Yushi' Means 'Popular Around' and has an Hindu origin. It can also mean 'courage and determination' , which resonates with Yushi's character well. As for the last name, i actually forgot to pick one and just started writing the fanfiction lol. I randomly picked it from Pinterest because it sounded cool. It means "the one whom God helps" which is cool too.

Yushi is guarded and pragmatic, someone who has learned to keep her emotions in check but she can be nice to be around as well. She values independence and self-reliance, often distancing herself emotionally from others to avoid vulnerability. Beneath her stoic exterior, however, is a deeply caring person who yearns for connection, though she’s often unsure how to let her walls down. She’s intellectual and approaches problems methodically, relying on logic and research to find solutions. She's also a crackhead(Yuji just brings out that side of her)

Yushi is intelligent and resourceful (and dumb at times), with a sharp mind for analyzing situations and uncovering solutions. Though she lets her emotions control her more than she controls them, she's able to handle stressful situations calmly, and is usually able to think clearly even when faced with overwhelming odds. She's always doing what she can to help those around her.

Yushi’s tendency to distance herself emotionally from others can make her come off as cold or indifferent. She’s afraid of getting hurt, so she keeps people at arm’s length, often overthinking her interactions and overanalyzing her emotions. Her reluctance to rely on others can lead to feelings of isolation. She's also very stubborn, has anger issues and gets extremely defensive when pissed off. Despite her desire to solve problems, she’s hesitant to express her true feelings, particularly when it comes to her growing connection with Yuji.

Yushi is torn between her need for control and the unfamiliar emotions Yuji stirs within her. Her logical, calculated approach to life is disrupted by her feelings towards him, making her question whether she should let her walls down. As she grows closer to Yuji, she must confront her fear of vulnerability and decide whether to open herself up to someone who may eventually leave her life.

To put it out simply, they bring out the best in eachother.

Together, Yuji and Yushi create a compelling dynamic: Yuji's openness slowly breaks down Yushi’s emotional barriers, while Yushi’s practicality helps ground Yuji in moments of uncertainty. Their growing connection challenges them to confront aspects of themselves they might otherwise ignore, setting the stage for character growth as they navigate their feelings and the complexities of their situation.

Their combined personalities lead to impulsive decisions and wild plans that sometimes defy logic. They bounce off each other’s energy, amplifying their adventurous, sometimes reckless sides. Whether it’s attempting complex rituals or trying to solve problems in unconventional ways, they tend to get themselves into hilarious and confusing situations.

Their shared tendency to act before thinking, especially when excitement is involved, often results in unexpected outcomes. Despite their chaos, there’s an undeniable charm in how they function together.

While they might seem like the "dumb and dumber" pair, their unique qualities complement each other in surprising ways. Yuji’s boundless optimism and enthusiasm fuel Yushi’s more reserved nature, encouraging her to step outside her comfort zone.

Meanwhile, Yushi’s analytical mind helps balance out Yuji’s impulsive tendencies, keeping them both grounded when things get too out of hand. Together, they make a strangely effective team—able to get out of sticky situations, often by sheer luck or the fact that their unorthodox methods manage to work in the end.

Yuji’s laid-back, fun-loving nature clashes with Yushi’s logical approach, creating moments of misunderstanding or playful bickering. Yet, these moments only strengthen their bond, as they learn to appreciate their differences.

Enough Yapping it's not like anyone will read all this-
