Lily Monroe was always told she had an overactive imagination. Her parents would just laugh it off when she spoke about her oh so "special friend" who hanged out with her every day after school in the abandoned playground. To be honest they never believed her, but she knew. Marcos was real to her, even if no one else could see him.

Years later, after the sudden disappearance of Marcos, when the innocence of childhood faded, Lily forgot about Marcos. Or at least she attempted to, he never really seemed to leave her mind.. it was just truly strange, the feeling of similar faces would show up in the wrong places, how she always felt that her every damn move was being watching from afar, even when she was all alone.

Who knows, maybe Marcos was never imaginary at all.
