RULES.
𝐎𝐍𝐄 ⩩ please, be kind to each other — and to me, too. i ask this not as a demand, but as a fragile request, one that i hope you'll carry carefully.
𝐓𝐖𝐎 ⩩ these are premade covers, meaning what you see is what you get — no changing the title, no swapping out the face claim, no tweaks or edits. if you happen to fall in love with a cover but the title isn't right, you'll need to adjust your story to fit the cover, not the other way around. i know that can be frustrating, but once a project is finished, i usually discard the files to free up space on my drive. it's not personal — it's just how things flow. every now and then, i hold onto a file, though it's rare. if you're really set on a title change, just ask. if i still have the file, i'll see what i can do, but no promises.
𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 ⩩ no stealing. it isn't fair — to me, or to the person i chose to have the cover. once a cover finds a home, it belongs there. if it's not meant for you, please, let it go. either adopt a different one or move on. there's always another story waiting, another cover looking for the right place to belong.
𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 ⩩ your book needs to be published with at least four chapters — real chapters, not author's notes, playlists, or aesthetics. those chapters are lovely, but they're decorative. the chapters need to hold the weight of the story itself, to carry the plot, the characters, the heart of what you're trying to say.
𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 ⩩ you need to use the cover for at least two weeks. i'll be checking, not to police you, but because i put a lot of time and care into these covers, and it matters to me that they're actually used. once you've taken the cover, it's yours — i won't give it to anyone else, even if you stop using it — but i'd appreciate knowing if you decide to change it.
𝐒𝐈𝐗 ⩩ on top of that, i ask that you credit me in the description of your book. it's a small thing, but it matters. i'll be checking, not because i don't trust you, but because these covers carry a piece of the effort and care i put into them, and recognition feels like a way of honoring that.
𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 ⩩ since wattpad took away private messaging, if you want a cover, you'll need to have a discord or a pinterest you're comfortable sharing with me. this is the best way to prevent anyone else from taking a cover meant for you. once i've accepted your request, i'll ask for your discord, and as soon as i've noted it down, i'll delete your comment. it's just a little extra step to keep things in order.
𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 ⩩ please respond to your acceptance within seven days. if i don't hear from you, the cover will be put back up for adoption. it's not personal — just part of keeping things moving. if it's not claimed, it's free to belong to someone else who's ready for it.
PAYMENT.
𝐎𝐍𝐄 ⩩ once i've accepted you to adopt a cover, you'll need to follow my account. it's a small gesture, but it matters — like saying thank you or keeping in touch after borrowing something meaningful. it helps me stay connected, to know the cover has found its way to someone who appreciates it.
𝐓𝐖𝐎 ⩩ leave at least eight+ comments on any of my books to show that you've engaged with the story. even a small thought or reaction matters.
𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 ⩩ add this book, or any of my others, to your reading list.
𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 ⩩ and please credit me in the summary or description of your book.
𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 ⩩ the password is your top three favorite movies
𝐒𝐈𝐗 ⩩ optional, but deeply appreciated: if you like the cover, please share the news about my adopt-a-cover project by posting on your message board and tagging me. your words could help the right cover find its home, and that shared connection means more than you might realize.
note! comment the password on the cover you wish to adopt. that's how i'll know you're interested and how i'll accept your request. once i see your password, we can begin the journey together.
