In the Celestial Palace's library, Loria stood in distress, staring at the thousands of scrolls she had written over the years. Everything she once predicted for this age of war had changed drastically, leaving her shaken.
Loria: A new reality, a new path has been drawn.
She reached for an empty scroll, her eyes glowing a bright, intense yellow as she raised her gaze to the ceiling, almost in a trance. As she wrote, her hand moved swiftly, forming Japanese characters across the scroll.
The words read:
我らは燃え盛る怒りの灰の中から立ち上がり、その時、この現実は無へと砕け散るだろう。Snapping back to herself, she looked down, her breath catching.
Loria: [Gasps] I've never written in Japanese before.
[Reading the translation aloud, she murmured] "We'll rise from the ashes of our burning rage, and in that moment, this reality will shatter into nothingness."
What... does it mean?Loria stood up, her movements tense, and opened a golden drawer. Inside were black scrolls-scrolls she had written about the immense power resting within five beings capable of destroying and reshaping reality at will. With a deep breath, she took the first scroll and unrolled it. The golden words on it began to shift, morphing from English to Japanese.
Loria: [Reading aloud] "On the day of the Eclipse's rise, only one will survive, and the other will be condemned into darkness for all eternity, shaping the very existence of this reality. Once light was darkness, darkness is now the light."
She set the scroll aside, her unease deepening, and reached for the second. This time, the writing was in Latin.
Loria: [Translating softly as she read] "A Celestial falls, a new rises. An Archangel falls, a new rises. A God falls, a new rises. In the Void, the one marked with the four leaved clover shall end all that exists."
The weight of the words hung in the air, stirring a sense of foreboding deep within her. Loria froze for a moment, the weight of the scrolls slipping from her mind as Cecilia's words sank in.
Cecilia: Lady Loria, Lady Abigael and Lady Inara await you in the formal living room.
Loria: [Turning to her] Inara is here?
Cecilia: Yes, they have brought guests, my Lady. Azael of Whirlwind...
Loria's eyes widened in shock, unable to hide her surprise.
Cecilia: Eiravyn of Whirlwind, and former angel of Athens, Iris.
Loria's pulse quickened at the unexpected news. The arrival of Azael hinted at the kind of upheaval that was already being foretold by the scrolls. Time passed as Loria made her way to the formal living room, where Inara greeted her with an enthusiastic tone, embracing her warmly.
Inara: Hey, Nara.
Loria smiled softly.
Before Inara could continue, Loria's eyes caught sight of Azael, and the room suddenly grew quiet. Selene, the Celestial of the Moon, was present as well. Loria slowly approached Azael, and to everyone's surprise, she knelt before him. The room gasped in shock-Cecilia, Vivienne, Freya, and Inara's Grigori angels, Celeste and Quentin, all stood stunned.
Azael: Wait! Please, you don't have to!
Loria: [With a soft, respectful voice] Lord Azael of Whirlwind, it is a pleasure to meet you.
Azael: [Confused] Uh...
Inara blushed in disbelief, her voice shaking slightly.
Inara: Wha-what's gotten into her?
