Today, Devi didn't go to college, and when Devika asked what happened, Janhvi said, "Maybe Devi isn't feeling well today."

Later, Devika went to Devi's house. She found Devi lying comfortably on the bed and sleeping. Devi asked, "Devika? Did you finish your work?"

Devika noticed that Devi wasn't sick at all and got angry. "What's going on? You didn't go to college today? Why?"

Devi replied, "I thought going to college was a waste of time, and since exams are near, I'd study at home."

Just then, Kavita arrived and noticed Devika. "Who is she?" Kavita asked.

Devi said, "She's a college friend."

Devika said, "Hi."

Kavita remarked, "You didn't mention, Janhvi got divorced, and since when did this girl become your friend? I thought you were allergic to friends."

Devika responded, "We became friends quite easily."

Devi thought to herself in frustration, "She just wouldn't leave me alone, so I had to."

Kavita sat on the bed and teased, "You don't seem like you could be Devi's friend. Where did she find such a pretty friend?"

Devika smiled and said, "Are you, her sister?"

"Yes, unfortunately, I am Devi's sister. But Devika, why are you here?"

Devika nervously said, "I needed some notes."

Devi asked, "Notes? For which subject?"

Kavita chimed in, "Tell us, Devika, which subject? Don't stay quiet. By the way, I heard you have quite a reputation in class; Himesh told me."

Devi angrily said, "Kavita di, what are you saying? Himesh says anything."

Kavita playfully swung a pillow and said, "I meant, Devika is quite popular. many people have a crush on her. What do you think, Devi?"

Devi nervously replied, "How would I know? I don't think Devika is pretty."

Devika, feeling offended, said, "What? You were the one who said I look good."

Kavita teased, "She said that? Now she's lying. How mean, Devi."

Devi glared at Kavita, "Did Janhvi tell you something? Speak up."

Devika was just looking right and left for Kavita and Devi. "Devi, I spoke to Janhvi yesterday, but she was busy. She didn't say anything, but you cooked for someone and took it from home the other day. Did you give it to them?"

"I didn't take it for anyone. I told you there was nothing."

Kavita insisted, "Come on, Devi, what's with the sudden shyness and smiling alone?"

Devi angrily said, "Can't you handle my happiness?"

"That's not it, but tell me who this guy is. It's not Himesh, is it?"

Devika stood there, confused, recalling something Shivani and Sunita had said.

Devika said, "I might know."

Devi looked at Devika, who signaled her to calm down.

Kavita asked, "Who is it that Devi has fallen for?"

Devika replied, "It's not a boy."

"What?" Kavita said, shocked, while Devi bit her lip nervously.

Devika looked at Kavita and said, "It's a cat. Devi cooks food to feed the cat outside the college. She's happy with the cat."
