(A/N: Thanks for reading this story and have fun reading this chapter)

Working without a desk really started annoying her. Also the lack of light. Sure, workers were able to see at night since they were made to work in mines and sometimes the human kind wanted to cut costs so not all parts of the mines were lit, and the built-in night vision was quick to install and much cheaper, but the quality of it was non ideal.
Since she was a worker drone she had a built-in night vision too, although working in those types of conditions was terrible. Uzi very much preferred to work with good lighting and as mentioned earlier, she also could only have one device connected at a time which was slowly starting to annoy her. She'll have to finally get those things or else she'll go nuts.

After 2 hours since N left, Uzi finally decided to go get some shuteye. She still had to recharge. After plopping some AAA and 9V batteries into her mouth and eating them, she carefully moved an unconscious sentinel so as she won't trip on it when she wakes up, moved her tools and went to the old mattress covering herself with her pastel pink, wonderfully soft blanket. After a moment, she began to fall asleep...

~~~
She woke up in a rather strange place. It looked like a cathedral or a church. Everything was dark. A shiver ran through her. She didn't like this place. How had she even gotten here? Sleepwalking? Kidnapping? Did she die?
The purple-haired drone was on full alert and looked around frantically, listening...
- "giggle." - Uzi froze. She felt unfamiliar presence within that building. After a moment, she gathered her thoughts and assumed her emo teenager persona.
- "Who are you!? Where am I!?" - She tried to sound confident, but there was something wrong with that voice. She remembered that old game made by humans - Portal... and the voice talking to her sounds very similar to GLaDOS...
- "Amused chuckle. Uzi Doorman, that's not a good tonation of your voice. Shuffle. You should pay us more respect, my little toy" - Said that weirdly robotic voice. Sure she herself was a robot but she speaks normally.
- "What's with everyone calling me a toy!? First V and now whatever you are!? I'm no one's property!" - She was pissed. Well, this is the second time someone called her that and you didn't have to be Sherlock to see that she hated it.
- "Giggle, oh, but you are and it really hurts our feelings you don't remember us..." - Suddenly Uzi saw her dead mother Nori before her.
- Uzi backs down "M-Mom?"
- "Not quite~" - When her 'mom' said that, something bad started happening to her. Her eyes turned yellow and her whole form started changing shape. After the transformation, she no longer looked like Nori. Before her was a weirdly standing worker drone. The female had an unsettling smile, silver hair, dressed as a maid. Behind her were weird like camera thingies.
- "W-what are you!?" - Uzi was frightened, but didn't want to show it to this thing, although she felt that whatever this thing was, already knew that she was scared shitless.
- "You'll soon find out and when you finally do, I'll make sure that I have some fun~ Say hi to V and big brother N, will you?" - The weird maiden tilted her head, the expression never changing.
- "But answer my question! Also what does those two murder drones have to do with you!?" - Uzi didn't like playing this game. She really wanted some clues as to where she was and who or what was the being before her.
"It's better to assimilate then explain." - After she said that, that terrifyingly strange-looking creature lunged at her. After a moment, Uzi felt pain in her chest. The lavender eyed drone soon opened her eyes as a core and saw that she was slowly dragged by an unstoppable force to the mouth of whatever it was. It was very hard for her to get out and she sadly didn't succeed in escaping. The short drone felt the jaws tightening on her. It hurt like hell, and after a moment there was just unsettling darkness and deathly silence...
~~~

Uzi woke up screaming. What kind of nightmare was that... And why was it so realistic? She felt everything, and she hadn't had nightmares like that since Nori was killed by murder drones...

Her hands were shaking. Her breathing was uneven. She looked around in fear. Something was terribly wrong with her. Her head was aching. I mean, ever since she was exiled her head was aching at least a bit but now? It hurt like a bus hit her. She also heard a very unpleasant ringing in her ears. She can't take a break, can she?

The purple-haired almost ripped her bandages she had around her eye since it hurt the most but before she could the drone felt movement. She froze.

Even though her new buddy was unconscious, he placed his head on her lap. Yes. The dinosaur that was built to destroy drones like her, was snuggling up to her to calm her down. It worked. Uzi actually managed to calm down by petting that machine. The unpleasant ringing was gone replacement by something else. That dino began to make a quiet rumbling sound... It sounded similarly to the purring of a cat, though this one was a bit glitched, probably because of the damages it had endured.

At this moment Uzi knew she made the right decision to help that sentinel. She had to choose a name for it, but right now the short drone wanted to enjoy the moment. It's the first time in years she felt cared for, and Uzi could feel that her critter enjoyed being petted too. With that quiet rumbling noise she slipped out of consciousness falling asleep again, this time without nightmares.

(A/N: This one is a bit shorter than others, but I hope you enjoyed a little bit of fluff at the end. Have a nice day/ night.)
