(A/N: I didn't know I had this much motivation. I'm not joking, I always lose it quite quickly so that's new for me. Anyways, enjoy I guess)

From sitting as quietly as she possibly could, so the murder drones don't find her, Uzi sat near the doors, Railgun in hand, pointing towards the only entrance.

She knew that she was very tired as her visor displayed a few warnings, but if she falls asleep now, she may never wake up again as she could be found by one of those damn murderous machines. She listened the whole time to make sure there was nothing nearby, her senses as sharp as they could be.
The purple-haired drone was terrified, that was a fact, but she was also filled with adrenaline and a strange sense of satisfaction because she is independent. Of course it's not that she wasn't before, but it's that she was in a safe colony, closed by 3 big doors, and now she was sitting completely alone, totally without anyone else.

Sadly, her body wasn't as strong as she expected and her eyes started to droop. She checked her internal clock. Only two more hours of the night and the sun would rise. After checking it, her eyes immediately closed from exhaustion. She smacked herself in the head. No. She couldn't go to sleep. Not when she wasn't certain she was completely safe, and she certainly didn't feel that way now. But unfortunately she slowly began to drift away...

That was until Uzi heard a noise... A quiet murmur... This woke her up immediately and she adjusted her position in a state of full alertness.

She didn't know if it was a murder drone or another survivor, until she heard that oil-curdling laughter... Yep. She is dead. She is so very much dead.

The lavender eyed drone prayed she wasn't found. Sure, she had her gun but she wasn't sure if that was enough because guess what? SHE NEVER FOUGHT WITH A MURDER DRONE BEFORE!

The inner turmoil began as Uzi's thoughts ran miles per hour. She wasn't ready for death and she won't come down that easily...
In her spiral of thoughts she didn't notice something very important... She stopped listening.

Her inner turmoil stopped immediately as she realised her mistake... Now all she could hear was dead silence. A shiver ran down her spine, Uzi didn't know if total silence was better than any sound. Before she could at least hear the howling of the wind but now? Nothing. Absolute silence.

After this somewhat long period of time she heard something that scared her so much that she started shaking with fear. Scratching. The scratching of metal claws against her door, it was slow, laborious but Uzi could hear how deep those claws dug. It knew, this thing from hell knew someone was inside and it clearly felt the piercing fear that had taken over the short drone.

The scratching slowly grew in intensity, trying to break through the metal, but she could hear that whatever it was, was unable to get through.

The scratching became even more intense and angry. This murderous drone really enjoyed toying with its prey, Uzi could hear it in the demeanor of this spawn of Satan. It wanted her to be afraid and it desperately wanted to get in Then she heard a weak voice in the distance.

- "V! We're heading back! Sun will be up soon!" - The voice was very demanding and belonged to a female, but was she another murder drone? Can those things even talk?

- then Uzi heard a loud bang on her door and then heard a really agitated and also female voice, this time louder, since it came from the murder machine that was scratching her door - "Oh come on J! I have found a new toy! Let me play with it! I can sense how afraid it is, please let me get inside!"

- "You can come here tomorrow if you want to kill this particular worker so much, but I don't want my best hunter to burn in the sun like an idiot!" - Said the drone named J as Uzi gathered from their little dialogue.

- "Ughhhhh fineeee..." - then the lavender eyed drone heard flapping of wings but she still felt the presence of that murder drone, and so that meant that J was the one to leave. The purple-haired drone then heard an eerie voice behind her door - "I'll be back tomorrow~ see you soon~" and after presumably V said that, she left.

Uzi took a deep breath. What the hell was that!? Was this supposed to happen every night!? Oh that's just amazing! Why was her luck a fucking sine wave!?
After a while, however, she calmed down. A new day would dawn in a very short while, since those flying bastards had to finish their hunt. She only had to wait a moment to get out...

--------

The adrenaline wore off and the short drone felt the exhaustion wave hit her like a truck. She hasn't eaten for 2 days... Not that workers need much food but if they don't get enough recharge by sleeping, they tend to get hungry.
Uzi knew that if she didn't eat something soon, she would faint before she finished building that door, and then that whole V would definitely kill her.

If she finishes those stupid doors, she would definitely sleep like she never slept before. Yes the interior of her bunker was still sad and depressing but there are important and more important things and for now, her sanity was more important... Not that she had much in the beginning but it was still something. Her plan had been divided even more, but Uzi had her priorities straight and she really wanted to feel safe more than anything.

Overcoming her fatigue once again, Uzi got to work on that damn door, and she knew it would work because even unfinished it had repelled at least one attack, although she wasn't sure if it was because that piece of crap arrived too late, but she didn't want to find out.

-------

She was mostly done in just 2 hours of work! That's something she didn't expect her sleep deprived mind to do and yet, she managed to do that. Now she just had to go outside and Reinforce that door with the much harder metal she found not too long ago.

When she got out and looked at the door she froze. Sure, she had expected scratches, but this? This looked really bad.
There were claw marks everywhere, and the two largest ones formed a 'V' shape. Of course! This murder machine simply had to sign itself, because otherwise it would probably kill itself if it didn't. Simply excellent.
Uzi just sighed and began reinforcing her doors, covering those scratches very precisely...

(A/N I think this went well (◕ᴗ◕✿))
