Y/n pov:
I arrive at school abit late as there was abit of traffic on the way here, I run into the entrance and apologise to the lady at the desk.
"Hey miss, sorry I'm so late traffic was terrible" I said out of breath, "don't let it happen again hun." She said with a chuckle, I liked her she was probably the sweetest teacher there.
I nodded and smiled and ran to my first class, my first class was math and Billie was in it, I wanted to see her so bad and talk to her about what the hell happened.
I ran into class as everyone looked at my sweaty mess, "sorry sir" I said quickly he jus shook his head with a disappointed sigh, I ran up to my seat and saw Billie, thank fuck, thank god she's okay, she had more a paler look and seemed more tired then usual.
I sat next to her as she smiled at me, huh? I thought she would ignore me, "hey Billie" I said "hey" she said softly, "you okay" I asked "uh yeah- just drank abit to much last night" she said with a chuckle, "oh god, do u want some water? I have some" I said she just smiled, "yeh sure, thanks" she said I gave her my bottle as she sipped out of it.
She immediately spat it out and started coughing, "Jesus Christ are you okay?" I asked, she continued coughing and gasping for air, "what- what- is in that?" She asked still choking.
"It's just some herbs I like to put in my drink, are you allergic?" I asked worried, she was calming down but coughed still, "what kinda herbs?" She asked I grabbed the bottle "I have no idea my mom made them all the time, I like putting them in my drinks" I said, "oh uh-" she cleared her throat.
"It's alright, I think I just choked" she said with a smile clearing her throat again. "You sure? Didn't seem like u were choking, it looked like u was dying" I said "no no it's okay, I'm fine" she said quickly and using tissue to wipe the table.
"You sure? I can bring you to medical- "I'm fine y/n" she said sternly, I paused for a minute embarrassed and confused, "uh okay" I said and put my bottle in my bag, "sir can I go to bathroom please" she asked he just nodded and quickly exited the room.
Billies pov:
Vervain, how the hell did she get vervain, I ran to the toilets and washed my mouth out with water and washed my face, I coughed a little my throat was still burning, could things get any worse? She has seen my eyes and she has seen my odd moment with her water, I have no choice but to tell her..
I felt my eyes tearing up, I really liked y/n I think I love her, a tear ran down my eye, I don't want her feelings to change with me, but if I just hide it longer she will see my other side and hate me forever, I need to tell her and explain everything.
I went out of the bathroom and y/n was standing there I jumped not expecting her to be there, "are you okay?" She asked "I gotta talk to y/n" I said "yes we need to talk" she said adjusting her backpack on her shoulder.
I grabbed her hand and led her out of the school, we both had a free period, I bought her outside and behind the bleachers, no one was ever there so no one could here.
We sat down, "what is going Billie? You're scaring me." She said her face looked genuinely concerned, I just looked at her deciding what the hell im supposed to say, I was silent, "so?" She asked getting frustrated, "I don't know how im supposed to say it" I asked my eyes tearing up.
Y/n Pov:
I was so worried I saw she was tearing up I grabbed her hand, "billie, whatever is going on I'm here for you, you can tell me, I don't think anything u will say will change the way I feel for you." I said she scoffed "you don't know who I am..or what I am.." she said my face dropped.
"W-what do you mean" I asked letting go of her hand slightly, the silence was loud Billie just looked at me with watery eyes, "I- she paused, "I'm a vampire" my heart sank, I let go of her hand as she looked down to it, "what?" I asked feeling vulnerable suddenly, "don't make me say it again" she said.
"I-I gotta go" I said quickly getting up and walking away she appeared in front of me as I screamed slightly "what the fuck, you were just there!" I asked scared shitless, "y/n please, please lemme just explain!" She asked as I quickly let go of her grip and ran to my car.
