-------------------------------------------------------------As Abhira rushed out of the auditorium, her heart raced—not just from the humiliation, but from the adrenaline coursing through her veins.
Abhira stumbled into the girls' restroom, leaning against the sink to catch her breath. Tanvi follow her ,eyes wide with concern. “Abhira, are you okay? That was so intense!”
“Intense?” Abhira scoffed, running her fingers through her wet hair. “More like humiliating!”
“Come on, don’t let them get to you! You handled it like a boss!” Tanvi encouraged, but Abhira felt a shadow of doubt creep in.
Just then, the door swung open, and her heart dropped as she saw Armaan enter. The other girls scattered like startled birds, leaving only Abhira and Tanvi behind. Armaan’s eyes locked onto Abhira’s, and an electric tension filled the washroom. She stood frozen, unsure whether to confront him again or run away.
“Tanvi, out?” Armaan said, his tone firm .
Abhira,” he began, stepping closer. Before Abhira could take a step back, he had pushed her against the tiled wall, anger radiating from him like heat.
"What’s your problem? What do you want now,Mr. Armaan Poddar?" she spat, her voice rising in defiance.
Why aren’t you afraid of me? Don’t you know who I am?Everyone here is scared of me, but you—
Abhira felt a flash of anger. “You think I care? You think that just because everyone else trembles at your presence, I should too? You don’t intimidate me.”
“Why don’t you get it?” he shot back, frustration lacing his voice. He leaned in, closing the space between them, blocking her exit. “Do you realize how dangerous the AARRC group is? We're ruthless, and yet you...” He trailed off, studying her face. “Why are you so different?”
Abhira pushed past the wall of anger building between them. “Different? Because I know my worth. You think I’m going to let them or you disrespect me? Not happening.” She clenched her fists, her heart pounding.
In a sudden rush, Armaan slammed his hand against the wall beside her, imprisoning her with his presence. “I don’t want respect. I want fear. I want you to fear what I can do to you if you cross me.”
“Fear?” she laughed bitterly. “Dream on,” “I will never fear of you, Armaan Poddar. If that notion is what you cling to, you’re only going to end up disappointed.”
