As the teacher announced the assignment for the day, a collective groan could be heard echoing through the classroom. Taehyung, in particular, let out a loud whine as he closed his textbook, his frustration evident on his face.
"Dude, it's just two exercises," Wonwoo spoke, glancing over at Taehyung who was seated next to him.
"Then you do mine too," Taehyung replied, shooting Wonwoo an annoyed look. He knew that just because Wonwoo loved math, it didn't mean everyone shared the same enthusiasm.
Wonwoo rolled his eyes at Taehyung's behavior and stood up. "Forget it, dude. Let's go to the cafeteria. Vernon's waiting for us," he said, ruffling Taehyung's hair.
Taehyung let out a heavy sigh but rose from his seat as well. "Yeah, let's go," he conceded, and the two friends made their way towards the cafeteria to join the rest of their group.
As they walked, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated by the additional work, but he knew he couldn't avoid it. With Wonwoo and the rest of their friends by his side, he was sure he could get through it, even if it meant a few more groans and whines along the way.
"Tae, how was the class?"
Jeonghan inquired as Taehyung and Wonwoo approached their regular cafeteria desk. Jeonghan's voice asked in a casual manner.
"Oh, your class got finished early today. Lucky you," Taehyung remarked as he settled himself down beside Jeonghan. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, conveying a hint of envy at his friend's early dismissal.
Taehyung glanced over at Vernon, who was immersed in his music, bobbing his head gently side to side, large headphones obscuring his ears. The sight elicited a chuckle from Taehyung, who observed his friend's oblivious state.
