This is the end of this fanfic and I really hope you all enjoyed reading it
I really wanted to do a plot-twisty ending, but I don't know how well that worked out. But at least it's not a happy ending. I don't know why, but I wanted this to be a fic where either they both die, or Atsushi dies, or Akutagawa dies do in the end i decided on the first one.
Uhhh, the disease Atsushi was talking about (in case it wasn't clear), the one that's killing him and made him kill himself and Akutagawa is the Hakahaki disease. Since Atsushi knew Akutagawa won't love him (since he tried running away 2 times already), he decided to just force them to be together in like heaven or something. Just some kind of afterlife where they can live as soulmates. That's how far Atsushi's obsession goes.
If Akutagawa didnt try running away the 1st or 2nd time, Atsushi would learn how to be a good boyfriend (like seriously, he wouldn't be toxic anymore) but I wanted Atsushi to stay toxic, mostly because if this became a fluffy fanfic, I would lose motivation to write it and it would probably be much shorter. Atsushi would be basically like Luo Binghe from SVSSS (after he and Shizun got married) if Akutaagwa never tried to leave him. But oh well, they're both dead now.
