Not Like Other Vampires (Lydia-Yvette) F/F

When Lydia was abducted by vampires, this was not at all what she expected. She expected to be dragged into a large room, her arms bound behind her back. Although that happened, she didn't anticipate a vampire in the crowd of fifteen to stand up, raising her hand.

"That one! That's the one I want!"

"You haven't even seen the others, Yvette." Another vampire retorted, holding back a chuckle.

But the vampire-Yvette?-wouldn't have it any other way. She wanted her and Lydia desperately wanted to do anything to get away. She couldn't. Yvette took her firmly with an odd gentleness, guiding her out of view of the others.

She had been taken upstairs to a large chamber near the back. Apparently all the vampires in the main room lived together in a giant mansion, occasionally picking up a handful of humans from time to time to have fun with. Lydia could only imagine what that fun was. She wasn't certain if she should fight it or just let it happen, knowing she wasn't capable of escaping with the limp that plagued her for practically her whole life.

Yvette set her down in the large vanity chair. She pulled out a knife from the back of her belt, making Lydia flinch and press her back to the chair. The vampire chuckled. "I'm not going to hurt you, love. I'm gonna free your hands. Barley tied you way too tight. He's new to this, so I'm sorry if he was a little rough with you."

Lydia wasn't sure how she was supposed to respond, so she didn't. The woman didn't seem like she expected her to give one. She cut the rope, letting it fall. Lydia pushed the door off her lap as she tried to size up what she was dealing with.

The vampire walked to a wardrobe, pulling out a pale blue nightgown. She tossed it at Lydia. The twenty-one-year-old caught it. It felt soft in her hands, and looked about her size. The color complemented her sienna skin, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair. She looked up at the vampire who passed her a soft smile, fangs peeping out.

"Why don't you change, love? It's been a long day for you I'm sure. You can use the bathroom. Bathe, change, brush your teeth, I have spares in the second drawer. Whatever you need to make yourself comfortable."

Lydia hesitated but she appreciated the privacy. She walked into the luxurious bathroom, locking the door behind her. Letting out a sigh of relief, she decided to draw out a hot bath for herself. She stayed in it for about thirty minutes, not daring to make the vampire wait any longer. Once she had fresh undergarments and her new nightgown on, she put her hair in a high ponytail.

Taking in a deep breath, she reentered the room, finding the vampire sitting on the bed with a book. She wore a similar nightgown, but it was a dark red, laced in black. It made her complexion even more pale than it was. Her black curls were tied with a matching red bow into a side ponytail. Her brown eyes looked up from the of her book (which Lydia recognized the title to a very spicy vampire book) and smiled.

"Looking beautiful, love. If you're ready to get some rest, I'll turn out the lights." Yvette patted the other side of her king's size bed.

Lydia was hesitant, but she didn't want to risk offending her. She slid underneath the covers, staying as close to the edge as possible. Yvette stood up and turned off the main lights, leaving only the one by the bedside illuminating the large room.

The woman returned to the bed, putting her book away. "Make yourself at home. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask or wake me." She flipped off the light, the room engulfed in darkness. Yvette laid down, turning her back towards her.

Lydia couldn't help but feel confusion within her relief. She had expected Yvette to force her into whatever fantasies the vampire had running through her brain. Yet so far she hadn't treated her like the vampires she had read in books. She was soft, gentle, and strangely kind for someone who was technically holding her hostage. She hadn't even mentioned how she must be craving her raw blood.
